Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique look adds unique statement to your bath We purchased and installed 2 of these wall mounted lavatory faucets to compliment a major master bathroom remodel we undertook ourselves. We had seen these wall mounted faucets at a Hilton Hotel in Oahu while on vacation and immediately fell in love with them. Unfortunately in order to utilize these types of faucets you would have to have new construction or undergoing a major remodel to alter your plumbing (we were in the latter category) so this worked for us. The fit and finish and style of this faucet really helped accent the look in our bathroom we were going for. The only challenging part of this faucet is to not tear the internal O-Ring when installing it...simply use some vegetable oil on the copper stub pipe to help it slip on...this is NOT in the instruction manual...but should be. We utilized the other Delta faucets in this line for our updated walk in open shower We would use these faucets again.

The Copper Tube from the wall

If the copper tube's outside diameter is 1/2" (not nominal diameter), what should I do?

Water does not stop when turned off?

We purchased 2 of these faucets for a new bathroom. Unfortunately, when you turn them off, water continues to flow for a few seconds. The plumber who installed says there is no other option. Is this correct??
Asked by: Mel
Hi Mel, Thank you for your question. It may take a second or two for residual water the spout to drain when the water is turned off. Please check for debris in the aerator as this can prevent the water from draining quickly. Best regards, Jon

Correct Distance to Mount Sink

How far from the wall should the sink be mounted? Will the faucet splash if the distance is too short/far?
Asked by: trebambini
Hi trebambini, Thank you for your question! For the least amount of splashing, we recommend that the water fall onto the drain as much as possible. For this model, the center of the spout aerator will be 7" from the finished wall. Thanks, Jon

The sink was installed further from the wall than planned. I could use a spout 2 inches longer or a thicker flange or spacer. Any suggestions?

Asked by: Gregg
Hi Gregg, Thank you for your question. There are no longer spouts, thicker flanges or spacers available for the model 3559LF-WL that will solve your installation issue. We have a couple of 2 handle wall mount lavatory faucets that have spouts that reach 81/2" to 8-3/4". The model 3592LF-WL and 3597LF-WL may work for you. Thanks, Dave

Flow rate

My brand new faucet takes really long to fill the tub. Is there a way to adjust the flow rate? Thank you.
Asked by: doug
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 3559LF-SSWL is constructed to be a lavatory faucet and not a tub filler. This faucet has a flow rate of 1.5 gpm at 60 psi. We do offer a tub and shower combination in this series with the T14459-SS for a single function pressure balanced faucet. We also offer a dual function pressure balanced faucet with model # T17459-SS. Either one of those trims will use the R10000-UNBX rough in valve.
