Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Line We installed two of these faucet sets 3 years ago when we had our bathroom remodeled. The person who mounted them left a lot of play in the faucet instead of tightening it down. I was refilling my waterbed with a hose hooked up to the closest faucet. When the hose got yanked by someone tripping over it, it pulled the faucet to about a 45 degree, and I noticed it was leaking under the sink. After it was looked at by a plumber, he informed me that where it was leaking was actually broken and we would need a new fixture. I was so pleased when I went to Lowes and found the same style still being stocked. I decided to reinstall it myself, which was pretty easy. The connectors Delta uses are nice to work with with their ingenious connection process. I highly recommend.

After looking to several other brands I came across this model and after holding it in my hands and looking at the quality I knew I had found the perfect faucet for my project. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Windemere Product Dear Delta- The faucet worked great after a second attempt. The push to connect water connects are wonderful and easy to install. However, the drain pipe needs to be converted from plastic tubing to traditional hard metal. The plastic threads on the drain tube can become too easily stripped from over tightening to ensure a proper seal. These threads become stretched or stripped. Again, needs to be metal drain pipe. Other than that detail, I'm pleased with my purchase and finish. Thanks, Ryan Pender

how do you remove the quick connect?

Water outlet on this faucet was installed with the split side of the washer under the top to the wrong side. How do we take the quick connect off so that we can move the washer around?
Asked by: KK
Hi KK, Thank you for your question. To remove the hose, hose has two tabs that can be pinched together like a clothes pin. Push up slightly on the hose with one hand at the same time you are pinching the two tabs together to release the hose. You should then be able to pull down on the hose with your other hand. Could this faucet be installed in a sink that calls for a 4" mini-spread faucet?

Asked by: Kerry
Hi, Kerry! Thank you for your question. The Delta 35996LF-OB-ECO cannot be installed in a 4" center sink. The faucet works in a 3-hole 6"-16" installation. Best Regards, Rosanna

How to remove aerator when it is inside the spout? Like the Windemere bathroom faucet.

Asked by: Jim B
Thank you for your question, Jim B! The aerator for this model simply unscrews counter-clockwise. If this does not unscrew easily, you may need to cover the aerator with a soft cloth and gently use an adjustable wrench. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/86432%20Rev%20B.pdf Best regards, Edward Phone: 1-800-345-3358 | Email: customerservice@deltafaucet.com | Facebook/Twitter: @deltafaucet

Windemere bathroom faucet - is there a trick to remove the areator?

Tried to unscrew it by hand and had no luck. I am a little afraid to use pliers and possibly bend it
Asked by: edDelta
edDelta, Thank you for your question! The aerator should unscrew by hand. However, there may be mineral buildup causing it to stick. Please try soaking it using a rag with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 15 minutes, then rinse and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also use a flat rubber jar opener to help grip the aerator. Best regards, Jon

How can I remove plugger

I dropped earring in the sink. I want to remove plugger to see if I can retrieve it. Also the plugger appear to be dirty and want to clean if possible.
Asked by: Dave
Thank you for your question, Dave. To remove the stopper, first unscrew the nut on the back of the drain and pull out the horizontal rod. You can then pull the stopper out of the drain flange. However, you may need to disconnect the P trap to locate the earring. Best regards, Jon

I removed this sink from my previous bathroom and planned to use it again after the remodel. We installed a granite countertop and the shank for the faucet is not long enough to attach the washer and the nut. Is there a way to address this?

Asked by: John
Hi, John. Thank you for your question. The maximum deck thickness for this Delta 35996LF-BN-ECO is 1 1/8" (29 mm). Unfortunately, we do not have a thick deck kit available for this faucet to make the shank longer for a thicker countertop. Best Regards, Rosanna

How do I identify the model for my Delta Windmere 2-handle faucet set that is approx 5-years old and what size allen wrench to remove faucet handle?

Asked by: Den
Thank you for your question, Den. You have the model 3575-SSMPU-DST or 3575LF-SS. Please note that these take different internal parts, but both require a 3/32" Allen wrench to remove the handle. The DST model has long dark gray PEX supply lines. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/3575-SSMPU-DST The LF model will have copper supplies coming down from the faucet. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/3575LF-SS Best regards, Jon
