Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sprays As part of a remodel I decided to add some flair to the shower. I bought these for their low profile and flow rate. They work great! Installation is a little tricky because the holes have to be cut big enough for the body and small enough for the finish piece. Also the end of the supply pipe nipple has to be recessed into the wall 1 3/8 in. from the finished wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty amazing This isn't a powerful spray...it's more like a drenching hot, big droplet, soaking rain storm. I installed 4 of these in our masterbath and it's fantastic. Again, don't think spray...think big drops...nice and hot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Body Spray I had a plumber install this item so I can not comment on the ease of installation. I bought a total of 3 of these sprays.

I need greater detail on attaching the rough in body.

After initial installation I noticed that the rough in bodies were leaking. The instructions say to wrap the pipes with teflon tape and tighten. My questions are 1) How many turns of teflon tape do I use? and 2) How tight do I tighten the bodies/ i.e. how many lb/inches or ft/pounds? To just say "tighten" (but not over tighten as in the updated instructions) doesn't give me any useful information. Additionally, should I use any pipe sealant with the teflon tape? Thanks. Randy.

Hi Randy, Thank you for your question. There are several different thicknesses of the tape depending on what brand you purchase but normally 2 to 3 times around the pipe is sufficient. The connection is a regular pipe thread connection. The rough needs to be tightened on the pipe to a point where it does not leak. Due to the variables in the installation we cannot provide a specific torque measurement for the rough. You do not normally need to apply pipe sealant and pipe thread tape at the same time. Thanks, Dave
