Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome... They are not as attractive of a design as the other Delta Spray heads, but the water saving feature is what sold me (1.6 gpm vs.2.5 gpm). We installed 3 and they make the shower an indulgent spa-like experience. If I had to do it over again I would do a total of six, three on each side.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Delta body sprays These are very low profile sprayers, which I liked, but that fact ultimately made them not work in my shower. These body sprays are meant to be placed in walls that are 6 inch think as they have to have enough room to recess the plumbing for a flush mounting. Newer homes have 4 inch walls in shower walls, and this product will not work. It is not advertised in product descriptions, but an inadequate description is buried in the installation paperwork. I didn't even see it there, and my plumber had to imform me. I had to return the products (at my expense) and choose a body spray from a different brand. The finish is close, but not an exact match as I had desired with the Delta sprayers.

I need greater detail on attaching the rough in body.

After initial installation I noticed that the rough in bodies were leaking. The instructions say to wrap the pipes with teflon tape and tighten. My questions are 1) How many turns of teflon tape do I use? and 2) How tight do I tighten the bodies/ i.e. how many lb/inches or ft/pounds? To just say "tighten" (but not over tighten as in the updated instructions) doesn't give me any useful information. Additionally, should I use any pipe sealant with the teflon tape? Thanks. Randy.

Hi Randy, Thank you for your question. There are several different thicknesses of the tape depending on what brand you purchase but normally 2 to 3 times around the pipe is sufficient. The connection is a regular pipe thread connection. The rough needs to be tightened on the pipe to a point where it does not leak. Due to the variables in the installation we cannot provide a specific torque measurement for the rough. You do not normally need to apply pipe sealant and pipe thread tape at the same time. Thanks, Dave
