Does this shower head have a water limiter that I can remove to make the spray even stronger?

Asked by: KarlaJean
Hello KarlaJean, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Fundamentals™ 6-Jet Adjustable Shower Head and I am happy to assist you today. This shower head is designed to dispense a maximum of 2.50 GPM @ 80 PSI. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend removing the flow restrictor in this shower head for several reasons and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Flow restrictors for faucets are an integral part of most aerators and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them. For water conservation purposes most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to no longer meet these codes. If you are noticing decreased water pressure or a poor quality flow rate you may have debris in your flow restrictor or the screen filter in your shower head or aerator. Often this is easily remedied with a simple cleaning process. To clean the shower head, please try to soak the entire unit in a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water for a few hours and flush the head with warm water for a few minutes to see if you notice an improvement. I hope this information is helpful and please feel free to give us a call at 800-345-3358 if we can assist you with absolutely anything else going forward. Thank you, Brandy Delta Faucet Company Customer Service

Are all interior parts of this showerhead metal. We had a problem with leaks with a previous shower head that had some interior plastic parts.

Can you adjust the knob to the point that the shower is actually closed?

I understand that the know allows for changes in the spray pattern, but I would like to know if there is a position that allows interruption of the flow.
Asked by: paulnederland
Dear Paulnederland, Thank you for your question. The lever on the side of the Delta Delta Adjustable 6-Jet Shower Head 52667-PK, adjusts the flow of water. There is no shut or close of feature on this showerhead. Best regards, Tanya

How to disassemble?

How do I disassemble this showerhead to clean out mineral deposits inside? I tried removing the screw in the center of the jets but I can't get anything to come apart.
Asked by: Nick
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 52667-PK does not come apart into different parts. If you have mineral deposits, we recommend soaking the showerhead in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and cold water overnight to loosen them.
