Great looking, water goes everywhere!
Just finished our bathroom remodel. Splurged on the vero series of faucet and trim and it looks gorgeous. Unfortunately I failed to read the reviews on this faucet and the water goes everywhere. It does not matter if it is right over the drain or if you put your hands deep in the bowl—there is no way to avoid getting water everywhere. It was so expensive but is non returnable and it makes the bathroom a mess all the time. Very disappointed and now we are trying to not use the sink.

Corrosion and water marks
We recently built our dream home and put Delta Vero stainless steel faucets, body sprays, rain heads, and shower heads in all of our 4 bathrooms. We are extremely disappointed in the look of these stainless faucets. They look like they belong in a public restroom with splash marks and corrosion on each faucet. I have cleaned them all to no avail. The corrosion in our master bath sink faucets is unsightly. I hate the look of the "brilliant" SS. It will not get clean no matter what I try. We have a top end Culligan water softener system that was installed in our home when it was built and these faucets started corroding within a month. I think there is something wrong with the stainless finish. I wish I had gone with another brand in brushed nickel. See pictures below. Our home is only 8 months old and won the 2018 Parade of Homes in the $600K - $1 million category. After reading all the other reviews about splashing (which our faucets also do) and corrosion, I am amazed that Delta has not corrected this problem.

Faucets Ok, customer service not so much...
I have 3 Vero faucets in my home, they`re beautiful and work flawlessly excepy one leaks...the plumber that installed them put in 2 new cartridges, it still leaks...Delta agent insists I try another cartridge. They don't want to simply replace the whole faucet. Lifetime warranty? I highly doubt it....

IT IS A SHAME
For a product this beautiful and costly, it is a shame that the "brilliant" minds of DELTA cannot address the common splash issue associated with this product. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because of the outward design...minus one star for the splash issue, minus one star for the poor customer service and minus one star for the price.

Doesn't Deserve 1 Star
If I could rate this with a zero star I would. The spout corrodes even following cleaning directions using a white vinegar solution. Perhaps because we have 'hard' water. However,the rain shower and other shower heads are fine. Throwing well over a thousand dollars out the window for someone else to find is a better use of your money. This faucet should be off the market!

Corrodes
The spout end of the faucet has continued to corrode, despite cleaning it regularly with CLR and/or LimeAway to try to stave it off. It’s in my main floor powder room and is a complete embarrassment.

Great design, single handle
Bought this faucet last month as a bathroom remodel. It looks great but the Stream Straightener RP76571 causes the water to splash, sometimes out of the sink bowl. The Stream Straightener needs to be redesigned; more like the Aerators of other Delta faucets.

Poor functionality
We have endured this faucet for years since installation. It is terrible, it splashes water everywhere! This is not a new problem. Why is Delta still selling this defective product? no Aeration so water splashes all over the sink. We use another bathroom to avoid using this fixture.

Nice looking - functionally a nightmare
This faucet looks great, but there is no aeration to water flow. Water splashes all over the counter, and I mean all over. It can't expect guests to wipe down the entire counter washing their hands. I will be replacing this faucet immediately.

Looks GREAT but no thanks
We remodeled all of our bathrooms and purchased four of these faucets. We are so disappointed about the splashing that we are going to have to replace them all.
Such a great loss, great inconvenience and unfortunate use of our valuable time.
We have many rental properties and have always been happy with our purchases of Delta faucets. Too bad the same didn't hold true in our own home.

Gorgeous faucet, beautiful water flow
A few years back I had an issue with a (non-Delta) faucet splashing everywhere, and I had to switch it. But I just loved the look of this faucet, and very apprehensively I bought it for my bathroom remodel despite the comments about splashing. My contractor told me if the splashing was a problem he'd be able to sell it for me to another one of his customers.
It's wonderful - the water flow comes down in a beautiful twisting ribbon, no splashing at all! And I have a smallish sink. I couldn't be happier.

I had this faucet installed by a professional plumber about 3 years ago. Never had a lot of cold pressure. Now it hardly trickles. Water lines have been taken off and has a lot of pressure. Save your money, don’t buy this Delta faucet.

Ellegant and Functional
Love these faucets in my bathroom. Based upon some of the reviews regarding "overspray", I went with the lower pressure model. Had some overspray on one of my faucets but noticed that if the waterfall hits the edge of the stopper assembly, it would scatter spray. Moved the faucet assembly forward a few millimeters and problem was solved!

Water will not come out of faucets
We have two Vero faucets - one in each bathroom. After about three years of use, the water simply will not come out of either of the two faucets...hot or cold. At best, we get just a small trickle. We had a licensed plumber come to the condo and confirm adequate water pressure to both faucets. Then, he completely dismantled one of the faucets, but he couldn't find anything wrong. He claimed that there's some sort of internal blockage that he had no way of clearing. He recommended that we buy two new faucets.
We've had lower-end Delta faucets in the past that lasted over a decade. How can high-end faucets like these - costing this much fail so soon?
Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Loved the look of these faucets. Bought two for my sinks & matching tub fixture. Tub looks & works great. The sinks at a different story. Even with low water flow they splash back on themselves & counter top. Very disappointed!

Water Splashes Everywhere
I just bought a new home with this faucet installed in the bathroom. Looks great and seems to be a quality faucet but splashes all over the counter, mirror and floors when used. I turned the water down under the sink and it helped when using full hot or full cold but when mixed the pressure increases and you get the same splashing problem. Is there an aerator or something to solve this problem?

Now with aerator! Works as good as it looks
I bought this for my small powder room sink. Worried about all the comments about no aerator and splashing, but I loved the look so much much I had to try it. Guess Delta read the bad comments about function: now has an aerator and not a splash anywhere I don't want there to be. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with no downside!

Awesome Durable Timeless Addition

Instructions were easy to understand and did not require a lot of tools. Using the Vero faucet is easy and looks great. The faucet looks great with my black speckled vanity. It adds a hint of moderness to my earth toned bathroom. The water flow is great. Not to fast or slow a steady waterfall like stream. This is a great durable product.

Vero Chrome Single Handle Faucet

I have gotten many compliments on the look of it. The handle was slightly tricky for my kids to figure out at first. They were creating alittle too much splash but quickly learned how to remedy that. It is a very smooth feeling handle to use. It is also very easy to clean. This is a durable handle and you can feel the high quality of the materials.

Do you offer a grid drain with overflow that will work with this 553LF?
Thank you for your question, MichiC! Yes, a grid strainer can be used with model 553LF-RB. We manufacture 2 grid strainers for lavatory faucets. RP47648RB is the grid strainer without overflow holes. We want to buy this faucet but I'm concerned about all the reviews on splashing. Is there a certain type of sink that works best with this type of faucet to avoid splashing. We are building a house and I need to spec the sink as well.

I'm planning to buy the 553LF faucet for my sink but I'm have trouble finding a matching bidet faucet. Can this one be installed in a bidet?

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Vero Lavatory 553LF has a flow rate of 1.20 GPM at 60 PSI, this would be to low of a flow rate and no proper connections for a bidet install.
