I have this faucet recently installed as part of an whole plumbing system upgrade - literally everything from the city water main into the house was upgraded: 1.5" copper service line to 1" risers and entirely new copper plumbing throughout my home. All of my faucets have the pressure of a fire hose except for this very product. The rest of the line almost spills out too much water! The tub filler and shower head are amazing. Same with other Delta lines I have in the other 3 bathrooms.
Problem is: the flow/volume/pressure is seriously lacking. No sediment visible on any screens. It seems the black supply hose is quite small but, and I'm not a plumber, that would only mean to me pressure would be greater given the Venturi effect. I'm all for saving water, but this seems like something is wrong. Might there be something else happening? How can I tell/measure?
Thank you for your question. The Delta Compel Lavatory 561-HGM-DST faucet is designed with a maximum flow rate of 0.5 gpm @ 60 psi. However, we do make a flow regulator RP73005 with a maximum flow rate of 1.5 GPM @ 60 PSI, that will install in your faucet.
