Rated 3 out of 5 by from Drain is not a pop up as stated! The faucet came with a standard Rear rod lift for the drain and it comes way to close to my back splash to operate properly. Now I must buy a true pop up and have it installed if I keep the faucet which is quite nice and works well. Any suggestions

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This faucet has a contemporary look but it can also be used in a Southwest or Tuscan setting as well. I have purchased the oil rubbed bronze for clients and am getting ready to purchase the same faucet in a brillant stainless. I truly like the lines of the Ashlyn line and it has a great price point. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Transitional lines I have used the Delta Ashlyn line in several of my design renovations. It has clean lines yet gives a transitional look with the slight curve of the design. This works well for many of my clients as we are working on updates throughout their homes. I will be using this product again on future jobs!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Sleek/Modern Look Used this as part of a bathroom remodel. Used it without the base plate to assist with the clean lines and sleekness of the "modern" bathroom we were going for. It's been about 2 years and have yet to be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect When we redid our bathroom this summer, we went for a simple and clean look with brushed nickel and stainless fixtures complimenting glass and subway tile. Boy did this faucet work with our aesthetic. It's simple and has elegant lines. We couldn't be more delighted. (and yes it works well too)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good design and performance. Performance, design and quality are excellent. Installed high above the sink minimize splashes. The water conservation and diamond seal technology and finish drain assembly rigid spout features are impressive. Single handle metal pop-up is easy to handle. The product gives a good impression when installed and is a worthwhile upgrade. We strongly recommend this product which also includes good warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ashlyn Single Handle Faucet In Brushed Nickel Finish Finally had this faucet installed into a new countertop over our existing vanity in a remodel of our main floor bathroom. The faucet comes with either the square bottom seen in the photo or an optional rectangle cover (to hide the 2 handled holes if you had a hot and cold faucet fixture instead). We opted for the square cover over the rectangle. The faucet has adequate water pressure and the lever works well for both sides of the hot/cold and center for tepid settings. The only problem we have had is that the pull knob to close the drain is very close to the tile of the wall, (the countertop hole had to be a certain distance from the wall and the sink installation). When we pull up the handle it just touches the tile in it's full up position. Maybe in subsequent redesigning of this faucet (which we love) the pull up knob could be placed higher on the faucet to make it easier for a hand to pull it up (if its close to a wall). The brushed nickel finish is even on all sides and no spots seen with water drops. Easy to keep clean. The spout is long enough so that when a person washes their hands, your hands are not hitting the back wall of the sink. Thanks for a great product. We have used Delta faucets for years in our kitchen and previous basement bathroom. We decided again to use Delta in both remodels.

Does the lever have a small turn radius?

We recently received this faucet and noticed the lever has a very small turn radius. It seems it would be very difficult to control the temperature with such a small radius. Is this by design and is the lever sensitive to small adjustments?

Yes and it takes some getting used to.

I really had my mind made up and wish could still buy the Ashlynn single handle lav faucet Told by marble installer specialist that the pull out angle type of drain stop lever will not have enough space from tile of back wall. We will have 20 inch deep vanity counter and undermount sink and 13/16 thick marble splash. What to do. He said many people have same issues. Only can use top drain stop handle or pull handle that goes straight up. ASAP. Ths
Asked by: Honorine
Hi Honorine, Thank you for your question. The faucet requires a 1 1/4" minimum clearance to the backsplash. It may help to use a flexible lift rod such as the RP75526 in your installation. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp75526.html Alternatively, you can install a push pop-up assembly and cap the lift rod hole on the back of the spout with the included button. http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/results.html?q=push+pop+Chrome&num=20 Best regards, Jon

Does the Ashlyn line have an "all brass body" or does it have plastic or nylon components? If so which of your products have an all brass body?

Asked by: V12345
Hello V12345, Thank you for your question. The Delta Ashlyn Lavatory 564-MPU-DST faucet uses either metal and plastic combination or a proprietary mixture of components so that the product has a high quality, while maintaining safety control with the various temperatures of water that go through the product. For safety reason we do not manufacture an "All Brass" faucet. Delta Faucet Company takes extreme pride in the quality of its products, and strives daily to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. Best regards, Tanya

How long is the spout from the faucet to the edge?

I need to know how long the spout is so I can determine how far the spout sits over the sink.
Asked by: ChrisfromLI
Hi Chris, Thank you for your question. The spout on the model 564-SSMPU-DST measures 5-1/8" from the faucet center to the middle of the water stream. Any difference in quality/construction based on the retailer?

Hi, is there any difference in this faucet purchased from a big box store like Lowe's as compared to a plumbing supply store like Ferguson? My plumber told me that the ones at Lowe's use cheaper materials, and the much lower price at Lowe's than even the cheapest online plumbing supply store supports this, but they appear to have the exact same model number and specs. Also, does it carry the same warranty from Delta regardless of where it was purchased?
Asked by: Kren
Hi, Kren! Thank you for your question. The 564-SSMPU-DST will be the same exact make and quality where ever you choose to purchase the faucet at. The Lifetime Limited Warranty is the same regardless of where you choose to buy the faucet. Best Regards, Rosanna

The Hit water flow is weak and not very hot . Could you tell me if there is an adjustment I do not see?

Asked by: PJW5
Hi, PJW5! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues with your Delta faucet. There is an adjustment to be able to make your faucet give hotter water. To do this, remove your handle and you will find the stem of the cartridge assembly. There is a switch on the cartridge located above the stem. Switch this to the left side. This will allow the hottest water. This will not adjust the flow for your hot water, however. For low flow at your hot side, we recommend to flush the supply lines for the flow issue. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If you still have issues, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna
