I ordered the 568LF-MPU with pop up drain assembly. I have a bowl-vessel sink that takes a special type of drain or so I’ve been told.. an umbrella drain?
Anyway, will this drain assembly work with those types of sinks?
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the lift rod on the backside of the Delta Ara Channel Lavatory 568LF-MPU faucet may not be able to connect to the pop-up assembly, if installed in a vessel sink. You make want to install one of our Push Pop-Up Drain Assembly 72174 or 72175.

Stream pattern for this faucet
My wife and I love the look of this channel spout and have ordered these through our builder for our new home. However, we started to second guess having these in the kids bathroom. I cannot find a video or photo of these sinks in action online anywhere. Our concern is, due to the open channel design, if the water is turned on full will the water have tendency to shoot straight across, missing the sink and making a mess? We are wondering if we wouldn't be safer to go with a closed channel Ara faucet for the kids sinks. We still have time to make the adjustments in our order. Please let us know what you think. A video would be even better! Thanks!
Hi Ken1, Thank you for your question. Another option available for the model 568LF-SSMPU if splashing is an issue is to install a flow restrictor that will lower the faucet flow rate to 1.0 or 0.5 gpm.
