Low Pressure
Good product. High quality, attractive, fit and finish is great. BUT, very wimpy water pressure. I have very good water service. Have had other Hand Showers. This one is a 5 on a 10 scale. NO massage here...

Needs improvement
The head works fine. But it is too close to the wall. If there are extended brackets that would help. When the head is turned the hose and the end of the head hits the back wall and will knock it out of the cradle.
This was installed by a professional during a shower conversion by Statewide Remodeling.

This shower head has leaked after a few years of wear. The head turns to choose the spray you might want but if you do turn the dial it will leak.
Sadly the shower head selection spray dial leaks so bad all around the black rubber ring we are unable to use the head except on strong message spray. I researched the Delta site only to find no part # or recommendation how to prevent the leak. I would not buy Delta 57021 again.

Easy to adjust
Nice 3 pattern handheld shower sprayer with easy vertical adjustment on the slide bar. Looks nice too.

Kinked Hose
Leaving the shower head at an angle results in a kink in the hose. Must return the shower head to the vertical position after using. The position on the sliding bar has never been changed.

Product does not hold the shower head into position
This product was installed by a professional plumber / contractor in a new home's master bath. The shower head bracket that holds the shower head has a set screw in it that does not work - that is, it does not hold the shower head into position and it slides down to the lowest position and the shower head points directly to the floor of the shower. This has caused the hose to kink which reduces the water flow to only a trickle. I've tried tightening the screw dozens of times and it just does not work - the hose is now starting to leak. To solve the problem I've had to prop the shower head (& hose) behind the bar and put a block of wood behind it to keep the shower in a position to deliver a spray - unfortunately the spray now hits the shower wall and not the person taking a shower but this at least allows water flow and a somewhat directed steam of water. I've also tried duck tape. There does not seem to be a solution at least one that I have been able to figure out.

Is the slide bar also rated as a grab bar?

The slide bar included with Delta model 57021 is not rated as a grab bar. We do offer handshowers with grab bars. For instance, Delta Faucet model # 52002-DS is available in white, and Delta Faucet model # 52003-DS is available in stainless steel.

We installed this set 4 years ago. We love the design, the pressure and the ability to move the shower head. Recently the shower head began to leak, and is getting worse. Are replacement heads and hoses available?

Does this come with the wall outlet to mount or do you need to purchase that separately?

Thank you for your question on the Delta Premium 3-Setting Slide Bar Hand Shower. I would love to answer this question for you! This model does not include a shower elbow or a separate hand shower mount. It does include the handheld wand, hose, and wall bar with an adjustable hand shower mount that is secured to the bar. Here are three shower elbow models that have a similar style to this hand shower: 50560-SS, 50570-SS (cubicle), and U4980-SS-PK. If you are interested in purchasing a separate wall mount for your hand shower I would recommend model RP61294SS as it has a similar style to this hand shower.

How does one clean out the shower head?
Hello Gladys,
Thank you for your question regarding how to clean the Delta Premium 3-Setting Slide Bar Hand Shower.
I am happy to assist you today.
We recommend soaking our shower heads and hand showers in a solution of 50/50 (or up to 75/25) white vinegar and water for a few hours (or overnight) and flush the shower head for a few minutes.
If you notice that the shower head still has more build up, you may use a soft head tooth brush to scrub lightly near the rubber nubbins.

How does the slide bar attach to the 2 wall brackets?
what keeps the slide bar from slipping down? I am not talking about the shower head cradle, but the slide bar itself. The directions don't illustrate anything to answer that question and I am wondering if I am missing some parts.
