Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could use a longer hose We have had this product for about 5 years and until today no real problems except it really needs a longer hose. Today suddenly the hand sprayer stopped. Almost no water comes through any of the nozzles. Unless something broke internally it may be chemical build up inside but there appears to be no way to clean the unit. This is very disappointing as it was quite expensive and it has only been in use a few years. We are on a major urban water system so I know the water is good quality. Also since it was a sudden stoppage and not gradual I doubt chemical buildup unless something broke loose in the line. The main spraying ring is unaffected and works as always. I would wish there was a way to service the unit for continued use as we had planned otherwise it has been a fine unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wanted to love it! I bought this shower head about 6 months ago and have used it in two different homes, but the performance is not great. The different setting don't work at all. We have great water pressure and we can barely get shampoo out of our hair when we use this shower head. Delta used to have a great reputation and name...but now I am not so sure. I wanted to love this shower head when I saw the demo at Lowe's. Took it home and it wasn't great, but we were moving so I thought it would be better at our new house and it wasn't.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor water pressure My previous Moen had plenty of water pressure. Since this was rated for the same rate (2.5 gpm), I expected similar performance. Not so. It's especially poor when the wand is used. There's barely any pressure to use it at all. Looks like there's a new model. The rest of us are stuck with poor performance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from the good does NOT last I just tossed out my second 58469-SS-PK delta shower head! Everyone in the family likes the water pressure and hand held feature with different spray patterns. What I don't like is the PLASTIC diverter, which switches from the main head to the handheld. When new it would switch with ease but after about a year it got very tight, so much so, that the PLASTIC controller broke off. This was our second purchase of this product and the result was the same. Determined to find out why and try to get a replacement part, I was unable to to take the unit apart without destroying it. I will never purchase another DELTA product again. I know that companies test their products and I know that delta knows this is an issue but they still put the product in the hands of the consumer. NOTE: we don't live in an area with "hard water" and have no other issues with other faucets or shower heads in any of the other 3 bathrooms.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would Give 5 Stars if it Was More Durable Aside from one flaw, I absolutely love the design of this showerhead. I love that it is like a rain shower and is secure and does not move around when the handheld piece is locked in place within the fixed showerhead. What frustrates me is that the tiny lever that is used to change the water setting breaks off easily. After the first time it happened, the store where I bought it replaced it. The second time, they would not. For over $200, I feel like the original and replacement should have last longer than about one year each. Perhaps the lever should be made of metal rather than plastic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice design, good spray, but ... I purchased and installed the unit few days ago based on the excellent reviews. I am very happy with the design and the spray performance except the sturdiness of the showerhead. The shower head is made of plastic instead of chrome, a bit disappointed for the price. Also, the shower head moves (tilts up) whenever I remove the hand shower even after I tightened the ball connection to the maximum according to the instruction. I have to use another hand to hold on to the shower head in order to remove the hand shower which is not very convenient at all.

*Can the In2ition 2-in-One be mounted onto your Universal Showering 24" Adjustable Wall Bar (#55044-SS-PK) effectively, and without future-use hassle?

Both to be in stainless finish. Check! Need long-term usage, no plastic-oriented breakdowns. If we already have the In2ition 2-in-One, do we only need the Trim Kit, or must we also buy the MultiChoice Universal rough-in? Builder rushed to have an answer asap, please!
Asked by: Susan
Thank you for your question, Susan! The hand shower can be mounted on the 55044-SS-PK wall bar. A rough-in valve will be required for the trim kit. You can use an R10000 MultiChoice rough-in or an existing rough-in of the same series, using the original cartridge. Best regards, Jon

How do you get the spray settings and where is the pause button?

I find that there is very little information on the operation of this shower. If there was something in the box the plumber installer didn't give it to me.
Asked by: Confounded
Hi Confounded, Thank you for your question! To change the spray modes turn the lever on the shower head portion to the desired setting. Turn the knob to change between shower head only, shower head and handshower or hand shower only. Press the button on the hand held for the pause feature. Best regards, Brandis

58469 hose

I've read other answers from you that say the hose length is 60-82"; however, on the product specifications, it only indicates a 60" hose. Does it stretch? If so, is this done easily?
Asked by: QHS
Hi QHS, Thank you for your question! The hose included with this is U495D-RB60-PK. The hose does stretch. The hose is easy to stretch but may be a bit more difficult when it's first installed. I've included a link below to this hose. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/u495d-rb60-pk.html Best Regards, Daniel

Biggest Difference between 58480 & 58469

Many have asked the difference between 58469 and 58045 and I think I get that. What about 58469 & 58480. I recognize the technology is different but what else?
Asked by: QHS
Hi QHS, Thanks for your question! The 58469 has a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute while the 58480 has a flow rate of 2.0 gallons per minute. If you look at the product description for each unit, you'll also notice they have different spray options. The only other differences are aesthetic. I hope this helps!
