Rated 3 out of 5 by from Remodel We couldn't use the pullout rod for the stopper because of its length and location on the faucet with a granite backsplash and the undermount sink it ended up to hard to pull up doe to the length and angle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice faucet This is a nice faucet. My trouble was with the store I bought the faucets from. I bought 4 identical faucets from a local company that sells kitchen cabinets, countertops, fixtures, faucets, etc. I asked for a plate for 2 of the 4 identical faucets that I ordered. I was charged an additional $40.00 per plate. When I got the boxes home I found each box had a plate included in the model 592-DST I ordered. I contacted the local store I ordered the faucets from and told them I wanted to be refunded for the 2 extra plates they ordered and they insisted that the plates were extra. After several phone calls I went to the store and showed them the box and specifications that showed the faucet plates were included. They did credit me for the 2 extra faucet plates but they said the other 2 plates belonged to another order and I was tired of arguing and gave them back the 2 plates that I still believe were mine. I really feel ripped off and feel like the store I shopped with doesn't know the Delta product they are selling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an excellent product. This is an excellent product how ever I have the same problem with the back splash not allowing the drain to be able to close off the water in order to fill the bowl partway. I would also like the work around, maybe it is better than what I am doing now. I have two of these in my bathroom and would love to be able to use the drain pop up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite faucets! I have several of these. In a basement bathroom, where this is the only sink, we needed the faucet to be higher to be able to get a bucket under it, for work around the garage, and whole area. I was trying to find a different faucet that works as well as this one, and really liked some Brizos, but each had little glitches about it that made it not work; for instance, the one I liked the most didn't have an escutcheon plate to cover the holes in the counter. I don't like using a hot and cold faucet any more, with 2 handles, except for the bathtub, and this is perfect. I have one of the touch/sensor Addison faucets, and for a while it is quite annoying, as it goes on too often, and you have to keep turning it off. I've gotten more used to its quirks, but I like the non-touch better, as you can control better when the faucet goes on and when it goes off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Right Choice for Me I bought two for the master bath in brilliant stainless to add to our counter/sink renovation. Loved it so much, I ordered the third for the hall bath. Can't comment on the installation since the renovation contractor/plumber installed the faucets. I was aware that my clearance for the pull up drain lever might not be enough - and we did try to bend the rod as mentioned in another review, but then the pull up function was incredibly stiff and tight. In the end, I ran to the big box store and purchased the touch pop-up drains and stopper by Glacier Bay in brushed nickel to use instead. It increased my total cost per faucet, but I'm very glad I made the switch. We removed the pull-up rod completely, and the hole is not visible from any angle, nor in the framed mirror which is approx 8 inches above the counter height. Only installed for 2 weeks, but no problem with water spots (however, I'm careful to grab my towel before I turn off the water, so not to drip all over the faucet). Our water pressure is normal, and this faucet increases the pressure even more, which means I often only turn it on halfway most of the time. I have consistent water pressure through the entire movement of the handle from hot to blended to cold. The handle has a very smooth movement and finding the full "off" position is very easy with no extra effort needed. The Delta logo engraved on the front is not as dramatic as a older review stated - maybe 1/4 inch height. For the brilliant stainless model the logo does not stand out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid contruction The faucet is without a doubt very solidly built and the design and finish are first rate. The description is misleading as it states "popup drain" and normally this means the type of drain that you push down to close and push down again to open. The Delta faucets use the old-fashioned drain that requires pushing town on a cable that goes up and through the faucet base. I bought separate push down drain plugs to use instead of the Delta ones as they stay clean much longer with nothing to block them or collect hair and soap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WONDERFUL FACETS We purchased these for a master bath remodel. They were installed by a plumber and he had no problem with the installation. They look good, function great and are easy to keep clean. Used at the bathtub (roam) with the additional sprayer and it was well worth the extra money..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best faucets I have used Champagne Bronze color blends in well with out bright gold. Was harder to install than I expected, but not to bad. Finish is great water spots wipe off easily. We have higher countertops and with the higher spout can was my hands without bending over, which is great with an old back!! Would buy again if we change the other bathroom. Have had faucet four months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfactory, but with gotchas The kit includes the faucet and the drain. I liked the champagne bronze finish and overall design. The popup rod is angled back and may not fit all vanity top configurations, but it was marginally OK for a cultured marble top with oval integrated bowl and integrated backsplash. You may have to bend the rod after inserting it (which is quite easy and may be expected by the manufacturer). The faucet is good enough. The one shortcoming is that if you turn the handle to hotter or colder, the stream rate will change. Maximum rate is in the middle. Other brands have about constant rate. The drain is built pretty well. Don't forget to apply teflon tape or teflon sealant to the tube thread, though. And the common problem with Delta supplied (so called) Mack gasket - the rubber gasket that seals it - is that it leaks. It seems Delta made it with fancy ridges in the hole. You need to apply silicone grease to the hole, or buy a generic Mack gasket with plain hole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet I love the single handle control and that it only uses 1 hole for installation. The single handle makes control of the hot and cold much easier, use only 1 hand compared to the double knob controls I had and more consistent water temp. The 1 hole installation makes cleaning the bathroom easier. Also, love the sleek, clean design. Very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Over all a very nice faucet. This faucet overall is a great faucet. It has one major design flaw in it. If the backsplash on the cabinet is more than 3/8" thick the lift rod does not work. It will not pull up correctly and stay in line with the connections underneath.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful! Bought the unusual finish of Champaign Bronze. Looks very rich & doesn't show water spotting. The faucet height works well even for a short vessel sink; however, the sink stopper wouldn't work for this application. The only detriment to this faucet is that the design requires about 3inches clearence behind the faucet if sinker stopper is to function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great faucet "Faucet is fine. I had a problem installing on 1-1/4" granite counter top. re: question about problems with the lift rod not being operable if there isn't enough space between the faucet and backsplash --what is the solution

I'd like to know before buying this faucet.
Asked by: Leola
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 592-DST has to have 2-1/2 inches from the faucet to the backsplash for the lift rod to operate correctly. If you do not have this distance, then you will not be able to fully close your pop-up assembly.

Cover for Lift Rod Hole in back of Faucet

I prefer the drain style that you push closed and pop open manually (with your finger) as opposed to one controlled with the Lift Rod. Is there some sort of insert or cover that Delta sells that would cover the hole where the lift rod goes so the hole is not visible (could leave the Lift Rod in the hole but would just make it confusing on how to open and close the drain).
Asked by: Ben
Hi Ben, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer a lift rod hole cover for the model 592-DST. Thanks, Dave

Sudden reduction in water flow

hello, Recently had new vanity installed with Delta Addison single handle center hole faucet installed. While using the sink, the laundry was running in another part of the house. Suddenly the water flow dropped, and has not returned. House sink aerators haven't been a problem before, but I suppose there could be accumulation. How do I clean the faucet?
Asked by: Karl
Hi Karl, Thank you for your question. Your model 592-DST faucet would have come with a small blue t-shaped wrench that will fit onto the aerator to unscrew it. This wrench can clip to the supply lines under the sink for storage. If you are missing the wrench it is available to order as the RP52217. Remove the aerator and turn the faucet on to flush the lines. Check to make sure that there is no debris on the valve assembly. You may also want to check that the blockage is not in the shut off/stop valves under the sink. Thanks, Dave

Besides the Addison accessories, what other Delta accessories can I substitue to go with the Addison Faucet. I don't care for the Addison towel bar and tissue holder etc. as I prefer a more simple modern look. Also what grab bar goes with Addison?

Asked by: Patty
Thank you for your question, Patty! We do not have a specific recommendations for matching a specific collection as this would be a matter of preference. Many of our models are designed to compliment various collections, especially those in the Universal, Traditional or Transitional Collections. Below is a link to our current accessories that may work instead of the Addison models. Best regards, Edward

I need quick connect to connect apartment style washer mashine to the faucet

The existing quick connects (3/4) and those that I could find in Home depot and Lewe's have different size/thread. Where I cold get quick connect for 592-DST?

Hi Alexzu, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer a cache aerator adapter that fits the model 592-DST. The faucet aerator cannot be adapted to work with the apartment style washing machine hook up. Thanks, Dave

I need a plug button for the opening behind my Addison bathroom sink single lever faucet.

The single hole drilled in my two granite vanities is too close to the sink and too close to the backsplash to change location for faucet, resulting in the lift rod for sink stopper to work. Moen offers a plug button for the lift rod hole in rear of their single faucets. I liked the Addison style over the Moen models. I noticed that over a year ago Ron had the same question. Surely it wouldn't be a great technological issue to create this plug button for customers such as ourselves instead of leaving a non functioning lever in rear of faucet, confusing people using the sink.
Asked by: tngal2
Hi Tngal2, Thank you for your question! At this time we do not manufacture a hole cover for the lift rod opening on the 592-DST faucet. My recommendation is to order a push pop drain and leave the lift rod in for decorative purposes. Best regards, Brandis

Will it hurt the brushed nickel to put a light oil on it to protect from spotting and deposits?

We have hard water and I would like to protect my fixtures with a light oil.
Asked by: Carla
Hi Carla, Thank you for your question. We recommend blotting the faucet dry after use to prevent water spots and mineral buildup. You can also use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to remove spots and finger prints. You may apply Pledge furniture polish on Chrome or Brilliance finishes for a water-resistant surface. Best regards, Jon
