Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not enough product information. Nice looking faucet, however the stopper lever angles back too far and runs into the backsplash. Product specs should inform how much space there needs to be, so people don’t waste their time and money ordering something that isn’t going to work for their situation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta Addison Single Handle Lavatory Faucet I bought this product several months ago. I liked the design but the stainless spots unless wiped dry after each use! Why even make this finish!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the look and function I'm really pleased with the appearance and function of this faucet. Customer support has been easy to reach and most helpful with my few questions concerning installation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from drain stopper is very difficult to operate We just installed two of the Addison Delta faucets with a new quartz countertop and back splashes. Because of the stopper design and the natural thickness of the quartz backsplash, it is very difficult to pull the stopper. The problem seems to be the proximity of the stopper to the backsplash and also the sleek, flat, slanted shape of the very top of the stopper. It is very hard to get a hold of. What can you offer as a solution to the problem?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Corrosion, Quick Cartridge Failure This product should not be sold. The brass is beautiful to look at on day one. But on day 2, if any drop of water is allowed to sit on the faucet it corrodes in less than 12 hours. Getting the corrosion stain off requires significant effort. Now, if the valve cartridge fails, as in our case, after only 15 months, water leaks from the ball valve (which really is not a ball valve anymore). It seeps out and overnight drips onto the base and begins to corrode. So in the morning, you find this corrosion stain and have to work like the dickens with a scratchy back sponge and a ton of elbow grease to remove the corrosion stain. God forbid that you do not get to this stain right away. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pretty Single Hole Faucet I bought four of these in stainless steel for 3 bathrooms. Three were used with Corian tops, which have a slimmer backsplash so there were no issues with the drain lever. The fourth was put in a 1/2 bath with a quartz top (thicker backsplash) and we anticipated that it would be a tight space for drain lever. My plumber pointed it out when installing it, but I already knew. We don't use the drain lever that much in the 1/2 bath so it wasn't a big deal to me. If you want to avoid the issue, get Corian. It is a nice sturdy faucet, that looks great in all of the bathrooms.

Will it hurt the brushed nickel to put a light oil on it to protect from spotting and deposits?

We have hard water and I would like to protect my fixtures with a light oil.
Asked by: Carla
Hi Carla, Thank you for your question. We recommend blotting the faucet dry after use to prevent water spots and mineral buildup. You can also use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to remove spots and finger prints. You may apply Pledge furniture polish on Chrome or Brilliance finishes for a water-resistant surface. Best regards, Jon

how do I get the stopper out & retrieve something that fell in?

Asked by: Ann
Dear Ann, Thank you for your question. If a stopper does not lift straight out, it is being held in by the horizontal rod. Behind the drain pipe under the sink is a horizontal rod connected to the lift rod via the strap. The horizontal rod is held in place by a nut. Remove the nut and pull the horizontal rod straight away from the pipe about an inch. The stopper should now come free of the drain. Best regards, Tanya

If a faucet model comes with a pop-up drain, is there any way to get the same model but without the pop-up drain?

The sink I am using has a grid drain, so the pop-up drain that comes with most of the lavatory faucets is not needed. Can I get the same model but without the pop-up drain?
Asked by: Bobby
Hi, Bobby! Thank you for your question. The faucet, 592-DST, is only available with a pop-up drain assembly. There isn't an option without the pop-up drain assembly. Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a plug button for the opening behind my Addison bathroom sink single lever faucet.

The single hole drilled in my two granite vanities is too close to the sink and too close to the backsplash to change location for faucet, resulting in the lift rod for sink stopper to work. Moen offers a plug button for the lift rod hole in rear of their single faucets. I liked the Addison style over the Moen models. I noticed that over a year ago Ron had the same question. Surely it wouldn't be a great technological issue to create this plug button for customers such as ourselves instead of leaving a non functioning lever in rear of faucet, confusing people using the sink.
Asked by: tngal2
Hi Tngal2, Thank you for your question! At this time we do not manufacture a hole cover for the lift rod opening on the 592-DST faucet. My recommendation is to order a push pop drain and leave the lift rod in for decorative purposes. Best regards, Brandis

I have a delta faucet 592-DST, does delta make an adaptor for the lift rod to compensate for the rod being too close to the back splash?

Asked by: Michael
Hi Michael, Thank you for your question! There is not an adapter for the lift rod for the 592-DST . The minimum clearance for all of our faucets is 2 1/2". I recommend using a push pop drain such as the 72173 and just leaving the lift rod in the faucet for a decorative look. Best regards, Brandis
