Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Shower head I purchased this because we use a shower stall and having a detachable head makes it easier to rinse out the stall and keep it clean. This was my second choice over the same version that is made out of metal. Functionally it works good. It would be better if more pressure was allowed to fully utilize the function of 2 shower heads. After using it for about a month, I can say that it is an either or if you want decent shower flow. I do like the fully open setting that gives a large,,albeit somewhat lacking in volume shower. I find myself soaping up with both valves open and then rinsing off with the small head operating alone because it has more pressure. Having purchased more than a few expensive shower heads in my time, I opted for the more economical version of this product. It is constructed with fairly sturdy plastic that is chrome plated. It is more than tough enough for standard household use. The water in my area will pretty much render any shower head, expensive or budget useless in 4 or 5 years anyhow, so the more expensive one ($20 more) did not seem like a good value to me. The hose that came with this model is annoying and disappointing. It is plastic and after nearly a month still has not relaxed enough to not be a nuisance in the shower, it is cumbersome and makes it difficult to return the shower head to its holder. A safety concern I would have if there were children or elderly, would be potential for scalding. If you have the large shower head on for a while then engage both, there is a chance that hot water could scald you. This of course depends on your plumbing valves and shower pressure. It is a real concern because I felt it. Now I am always careful not to be under the water until they have fully equalized and I check the temperature. Although a somewhat flawed design with real safety concerns, I can give it 4 out of 5 stars. With an anti-scald valve and a few tweaks to design it is a promising product.. I will be replacing the shower hose with a braided metal one because the plastic hose is not to my liking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The installation was easy following the instructions. The shower water volume and pressure is satisfying. One feature or adjustment that would be highly beneficial would be to extend the length the coupling as to provide more clearance of the shower head and the hose from the wall. In our case the shower pipe from the wall is short, so that the hose is tight against the wall and the shower head is forced to be on the angle versus shooting water in a vertical manner. It is hard to explain the in words, but I can explain with a diagram or over the telephone if prompted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Water flow restrictor limits shower's water pressure -- too little for me The water flow restrictor, I think, makes the shower pressure "wimpy" compared to my previous showerhead, which is why I am returning this showerhead and going back to my previous showerhead -- more water pressure. Yayyy! This showerhead is pretty, has great features, but it is hard to put the shower arm back into the showerhead and the water pressure decreased from my previous showerhead. Nice try, Delta, but no cigar for this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the shower head has great features. This is the best shower head l have bought. I was easy to install and the water pressure is great l like that l can tack the hand held part and use it by its self. It is the best l have bought at Canada tire store. Thanks for a great shower head. From Malcolm Harvey in AIRDIRE, ALBERTA.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but the 5-function one is more convenient We bought this shower head to replace a hand-held one which was getting kind of tired. This has the features that we wanted, but the ease of getting the hand-held unit back into the stationary one is not as easy as in the 5-function model which we had purchased for another house. Bought this one because of the great price. Unfortunately, neither model has the color that we needed for this house- antique brass - so we bought the chrome one. The oiled bronze finish was perfect for the other house.

Just purchased Model #75486C. After installation found the spray to be very weak unlike my old Delta shower head. Before returning to the store to exchange, would removing the metal screen in the head increase my shower pressure. Thank you.

Asked by: seabreeze
Hi, Seabreeze! Thank you for your question. The 75486C has a 2.0 gpm flow rate at 80 psi. We recommend to not remove any kind of screen. Doing so may result in voiding your warranty. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is there a removable flow reducer?

Asked by: nate
Hello nate, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta In2ition® 4-Setting Two-in-One Shower and I am happy to assist you today. Unfortunately, the flow restrictors installed in a lot of our shower heads are not removable nor do we recommend removing the flow restrictor as it will no longer meet specific plumbing codes and could potentially disrupt the way the model functions. For more information on our flow restrictors, please visit the link below: This model has been designed to dispense a maximum of 2 GPM (gallons per minute). If you are more familiar with a model which dispenses 2.5 GPM, you may notice a slight decrease in the amount of water this shower head dispenses. If you would like to test your model to ensure you are receiving the full 2 gallons of water per each minute that it runs, you can fill a pitcher or bucket for one minute and measure the amount of water the unit dispenses. One of the more common issues with receiving a lowered flow rate is debris. If you are receiving less than the 2 gallons per minute, you can soak the unit in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution overnight, which should resolve this issue. If you are interested in an In2ition shower head in the Satin Nickel finish which is similar to this model which has a 2.5GPM flow rate, please visit the link below: Please feel free to give us a call if we can help with anything further at 800-345-3358. What is the minimum ceiling clearance for the hole in the wall?

I have a low ceiling and need to know the minimum measurement from the ceiling to the center of the hole outlet on the wall.
Asked by: Mejulu
Thank you for your question, Mejulu. The shower arm should be installed 3" or more below the ceiling to provide enough clearance to attach the shower arm and install the shower head. Best regards, Jon

are the rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes latex? or any parts in this shower unit?

Asked by: chrystal
Hi chrystal, Thank you for your question. Delta does not specify Latex material in its showering products. However, because thermoplastic rubber (which is a physical mix of polymers) is used in some of the products, we can’t guarantee that there is no Latex contained in those products. Use of thermoplastic rubber in these kinds of applications is common. We understand that some individuals have a severe allergic reaction to Latex. We can’t guarantee that there is no Latex present in the material. However, we do not specify the use of Latex material. Best regards, Jon

Where is the pause button on this product?

My contractor just installed this model in two bathrooms, but disposed of the packaging and materials. We have had no luck whatsoever in locating the pause feature.
Asked by: Pause,please
Hi Pause, please, Thank you for your question. You can access the Pause setting by rotating the face of the hand shower. The knob on the side of the shower head will divert water between the shower head and hand shower. Best regards, Jon

What equipment/parts are included in the package?

Do I need to purchase other pieces to go with this shower head to have a functioning shower?
Asked by: Bob
Dear Bob, Thank you for your question. To install the Delta 75486SN In2ition shower head, you would need a 1/2" standard shower arm for it to screw onto. Best regards, Tanya
