Thank you for your question. We do not recommend disassembling the handshower sprayer/handpiece assembly. To dissolve any sediment that may collect in the spray face, just soak the face of the assembly in a 50/50 or stronger mixture of white vinegar and tap water for 10 to 15 minutes.
The large particles of debris are caught in the bottom end of the spray assembly, where it connects to the hose. Just unscrew the spray assembly from the hose assembly and flush the debris out with water from the hose.
If there is an actual broken part in the sprayer/hand piece, the full sprayer head would need to be replaced.
