Hello Ram,
Thank you for your question on the Delta 3-Setting Hand Shower.
I will be happy to help you today. If it seems that there has been a loss in pressure with your hand shower, please try to soak the hand shower in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water, as the debris screen may possibly be clogged.
If after cleaning the hand shower, the issue persists, please try to test your hand shower by allowing water to flow into a bucket to ensure the unit is dispensing 2 gallons of water per minute. This hand shower has been designed to only dispense 2.00 gpm @ 80 psi, 7.6 L/min @ 550 kPa.
If you are not receiving 2 gallons per minute, please give us a call and we will do our best to rectify the issue for you.
While it is possible to remove the flow restrictor from our shower heads and hand held, we strongly advise against it for several reasons. Flow restrictors are an integral part of most aerators and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them an d could cause damage to the unit and will void the warranty for the product. Also, for water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to no longer meet these codes.
I hope this information is helpful!
Please feel free to give us a call if we can help with anything further at 800-345-3358.
Thank you,
Brandy
