Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta 7-Setting Shower I have only had the item installed now for approx. 2 weeks, so far it has been great, I like all the different settings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very nice faucet fine faucet. like most the water flow's not great but that's the way of the future. not fond of the hose - it's kludgy and not all that flexible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good This faucet was so easy to affix to my shower. The product seems very well made. The hose seems sturdy enough, though it seems a litle stiff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, not glamorous I only use one of the sever settings with any sort of regularity -- but maybe that's just me. I played with them a bit at first, and noticed that the temperature changes with the different settings, presumably due to varying amounts of aeration. That's a bit annoying, but may be unavoidable. That said, the setting I do use has great pressure and even spray. The hose is a bit unwieldy, but generally stays out of the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice showerhead The showerhead is well made and has nice styling. It didn't have the water pressure that I was looking for however. I ended up replacing it with a Speakman.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Arm broke after a couple of years of use This is a good shower head, but the arm that holds the shower head broke. It looks to be plastic when I thought it was metal. Is this replaceable under warranty?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ah, Life's Simple Pleasures! In most respects, I think this is an excellent hand shower. Although the ball end from my previous hand shower was extremely difficult to remove, once that was accomplished, installing my new Deltal 7-Setting Hand Shower was a breeze (no tools required!). I did follow the recommendation of wrapping plumber's tape around the stem. The shower works exactly as expected, with adequate water pressure and a nice selection of easily adjustable settings. My only complaints are that (1) the hose is a bit unwieldy, being longer than I need and rather stiff; and (2) the shower arm gets in the way of a rod that I mount on the shower stem for hanging hand-washed clothing (turning the arm sideways, I'm still able to use the clothes hanging rod). Another thing that occurred to me is that a child or very short person would have difficulty reaching the arm to remove it from the mount or turn the dial.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Plastic = Cheap The design of the connection to the shower head extension could not have been more poorly conceived. The plastic sheared the very first time tightening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this product has different setting like massage. this one is very easy to install and price range that i can afford it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Look Coupled With a Great Price Offers some nice features and good water saving performance. Installation was fast and simple and required no tools. I really liked the pause feature too. As noted by others, the hose is rather stiff. Durability is the biggest drawback. The handle's hose connector came apart on one of mine after only a month. In our other bathroom, it continues to work well and look great so I'm hoping I just got a bad one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very easy to install I hate anything to do with plumbing, but this shower was a breeze. It has a longer flexible pipe to the head so we can was the dog with ease. The adjusment of the head is easy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Our old Chrome one was better We use to have your guys chrome one, but it stopped working. We bought the white one and the hose doesn't lay flat and the shower head feels cheap. We really wanted to love this one like we did when we first got the chrome one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent value, but not very durable The threading on either end of the hose is plastic. Within a few months of normal use, cracks appeared and water began leaking. I was used a pipe clamp to hold it together, but the plastic finally broke apart. I hate to throw out the whole assembly, or even the hose, just because of one faulty part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OMG!!!!!! I've just wasted 2 hours installing this item. All plastic, sprays water everywhere but out of the shower head. Also the PLASTIC hose that is made to look like the more expensive metal hose is stays a twisted pile of plastic even after running just hot water through it. As one of the other reviews stated I would have returned it but it was too @#$% hard to get it to work correctly. As they say you get what you pay for! .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked great for a short while! Bought from Home Depot and installed less than 30 days ago. It was working great until the hose connection attaching the shower head broke in half at the hand held unit leaving the threaded portion in place. I installed with only hand tightening(no wrenches) and teflon tape. There was no leak and no warning before the break. This hose is made in one piece and no way to repair short of replacing. If this is under warranty I would appreciate a return authorization for a new hose.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great hand shower . . . except . . . Except, we had to use parts off our previous hand shower in order to attach it to the holder. Beyond that, the hose was absolutely intractable. No matter which way you attached the thing or what you did, the hose would not lie flat against the shower wall. Would have returned it but it was too much trouble. We just used the hose off the previous hand shower. Maybe we should have just kept the previous hand shower.
Date published: 2013-05-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from needs an 'unkinked' hose. We love its size, the water flow volume, and various settings. But the hose has a twist that goes in one dircetion when the water is off, and the other direction when the water is on. It never hangs flat aginst the wall, & is the way when taking a shower. Can you send a replacement hose, please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great purchase This was a great purchase. It is the best hand shower I have ever owned. Only thing is it was a bit too long for my shower but other than that, it is great. Just wish I had bought it sooner instead of trying a cheap plastic one.

Can this model (75700WH) be wall mounted?

Asked by: MC
MC, Thank you for your question! This unit comes with a shower arm mount. However, the hand shower and hose can be used with a wall mount such as the U3001-WH-PK. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/U3001-WH-PK However, we do not make a supply elbow in the White finish. You can use the 50560 or check locally or online for a compatible white 1/2" supply elbow. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=50560 Best regards, Jon

Which end of shower hose is which?

I can't tell which end of the shower hose to attach to the hand shower or the shower arm outlet. The instructions I received with my hand shower do not match the ones on this website. The website installation instructions say that I must attach the ridged nut end of the shower hose to the shower arm mount outlet so the vacuum breaker works. The tapered end of the hose must attach to the hand shower, and there is supposed to be a yellow sticker on the tapered end. The print instructions do not say anything about a vacuum breaker, except to call and ask about it, but mention the tapered end and the ridged nut (but do not show them in the diagrams). But each end of the hose looks exactly the same-smooth outside with threads on the inside and a black washer in each end. There was no yellow sticker on either end. Neither end is ridged or tapered on the outside. How do I know which end is which? If there is a vacuum breaker in the hose, how I do I know it's working properly if I can't tell which end it's in?
Asked by: Allison
As there was no yellow sticker and the two ends of the hose appeared identical to me, I randomly attached one end to the hand shower and the other to the shower arm outlet. Everything is working fine, so I'm not sure whether I lucked out in the coin flip or if it really doesn't matter.

Is this shower-head designed to conserve water?

How do I disassemble this shower head to clean out mineral deposits?

Asked by: Charlie
Hi Charlie, Thank you for your question! The hand held can not be completely taken apart for cleaning. I recommend soaking the entire head in a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar for approximately 10-15 minutes to dissolve any minerals. You can also remove the debris screen in the end of the hand held wand where it threads onto the hose and rinse it. Best regards, Brandis

Asked by: Isolde1224

The water flow pressure is low. How can I increase it? Where is the flow restrictor in the unit? Can I remove it? I did not have this issue with the older unit.

Asked by: Mohan
Hi, Mohan! Thank you for your question. The Delta 75700 hand shower unit should give a flow rate of 2.50 gpm @ 80 psi. The hand shower has a flow restrictor that is non-removable. Removing or attempting to remove the flow restrictor may result in voiding any warranty you may have for this unit. Best Regards, Rosanna
