Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had a issue and Delta took care of it I did a large remodel 3 years ago and used all Delta fixtures in the the 3 bathrooms. They install without a hitch. 2 weeks ago I noticed water leaking from inside the vanity (custom made -"work of art' kind of vanity) so I was a little upset and called the Delta customer help line. I walked Amanda through my observations of the problem, where it was leaking from , what I tried and the like. She instructed me to try a couple of thing (which I had tried before I called) same result. My spout was leaking internally. She informed me that the spout was not a replacement item and that the entire faucet would have to be replaced. This replacement could only happen if the recommendations were tried and after a 24 hours period from when I made the 1st call. Well I waited the 24 hours and called first thing Monday Morning, talked to a gentleman named Wayne told him my story. He shipped me a new unit and I received it Friday, installed it Saturday and were back in business. I'm happy as a clam.

I have this faucet on my jetted tub. The hot water valve has been a problem to replace. Can you tell me the part number for this valve so I can make sure I am using the right one? I fix it and a few uses later it starts leaking again.

Asked by: Fredro
Hello Fredro, Thank you for your question. If your faucet is leaking water underneath the hot and cold handles, then the RP24096 (brass) stem units will need to be replaced. If your faucet is just dripping water from the spout when the faucet is not in use, then the RP4993 seats and springs will need to be replaced under both handles. The end valve assembly needed for the roman tub faucet model is part number RP40510. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP40510 Best regards, Tanya

Does the spout rotate left to right on the collar or should it be tight enough not to move?

I installed this faucet on a granite vanity countertop and the spout moves but the collar it rests on does not. Should it be tighter? I am afraid of cracking the top.
Asked by: skrubs123
Hi, skrubs123! Thank you for your question. The spout assembly should be stationary. We do recommend to tighten the mounting hardware underneath enough but not enough to damage or break the spout body. Best Regards, Rosanna

I was surprise the two lav. faucet did not come with a template for drilling holes in the granite. Where can I find a templete?

Asked by: Byron
Hi Byron, Thank you for your question. This faucet is designed to work with 3-hole installations on 6"-16" centers. The hole size should be 1 1/8" to 1 1/2". Unfortunately, we do not have a template for drilling the holes. Please refer to the Technical Specifications for more information. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-L-B3596LF%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Jon

what valve/water hook-up materials do i need for this faucet?

Asked by: Val
Dear Val, Thank you for your inquiry! To install the Delta Windemere Lavatory B3596LF-OB faucet the Hook-Ups are the only thing NOT PROVIDED. You would need to determine which type of connection you will be making. A ball nose risers (3/8" O.D. copper tubing) with coupling nuts (not supplied) or 1/2" I.P.S faucet connectors. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/86605%20Rev%20B.pdf Best regards, Tanya
