Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stopped working ... not happy We installed this toilet or year or so ago and it worked fine for a while. However now it doesn’t flush. We consulted the troubleshooting sticker inside the toilet lid and none of the scenarios it provides describe what is happening. When you wave your hand to flush, the blue light comes on salad and it acts like it wants to flush but it doesn’t. We end up pushing the manual lever half of the time; and when we do that the toilet won’t refill. Have searched online for suggestions for repair and found none short of replacing the entire insides to a manual system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk My girlfriend purchased this for home that was destroyed by fire. She bought it, then installed 6 months later. After moving in, it failed. Contractor came out and replaced batteries. A week later it did same thing. I changed batteries and it worked for 1 day. So thanks to this junky product, she has a bathroom she cant use, nor can she find the parts!! She cant afford to buy a new toilet and pay a plumber to install it. Good way to let the consumers down, delta!! We are about to remodel my house,, she swears that she will not let me purchase another delta product without a fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing but trouble There were two FlushIQ toilets installed in our home by the previous owners. At first it was a nifty and a great incentive for my son to flush... Then about 8 months later (April 2017) the toilet in my master suite started to malfunction. We changed the batteries and followed all the troubleshooting to no avail. In May we did recieve a new "brain" and the toilet worked most of the time... Still not 100%. Then in November 2017 the toilet in my sons bathroom went out as well... Again we received the new insides... As of now that toilet is functioning properly however mine has started to constantly malfunction... I am so tired of needing to tinker with the toilet just to flush it. It is no longer "cool" or nifty, it is a pain. Its a good thing they have discontinued this.model- something needs to be fixed! Its a great idea just not functional. The best part of the toilet is the height of the seat. And the soft close lid...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, Eco friendly We are using this unit for past two years, it might have saved lot of water for sure. Sensor worked well all the time, we have replaced battery couple of time overall. Now I am finding difficult to find the parts for one of the component which started leaking. Not sure, if there is any usage issue. A Proudct getting damaged is normal, if you are a house owner you know this, either it is $1 or $10K, everything at one point breaks. As long as the replacement parts are available and cost reasonable, then that is made the long term customer trust in mind. Give that, i am not able to find the part which I am looking. So not sure how to rate this, i came here to search parts. It would be great if someone guides here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it This was already installed in a house that we bought. I've had to replace the batteries a handful of times in the year and a half we've been in the house. The sensor is inconsistent at best. Sometimes is sensitive and sometimes it take 10 second of waving my hand for it to flush. I've tried keeping it clean but no improvement. Now I'me getting random flushing when no one's even in the room. In the middle of the night it started flushing every 30 seconds or so. I'll be looking to replace this with a regular handle. Don't buy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love everything but the FlushIQ technology It seems like I am not alone with this problem....everytime I have had to change the batteries I kringe at the thought of even touching that box to put in new ones.....it takes forever to get it reset....I have done your checks like you have posted to other ones having the same issues of not flushing or filling the tank....NO GO HERE EITHER......love Delta products but this is ridiculous to go through especially paying the extra monies for this product an now to see it is discontinued.....certainly wished I would of read the reviews on this product first before purchasing.....any assistance would be greatly appreciated......

The sensor has been flashing yellow only for weeks now and it won’t flush correctly! It doesn’t fill all the way which makes it flush slow and only a little causing it to get clogged all the time! I have tried other suggestions nothing works!

Hello Gabbi b, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Brevard™ Toilet with FlushIQ® and I am so sorry to hear that your toilet hasn't been flushing properly. I am more than happy to help you with this issue and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. If you haven't tried to reset the toilet and replace the batteries, please try the reset procedure first and let me know how the toilet responds - specifically, which light displays on the sensor and whether the light is solid or flashing: Turn off your water supply. Perform a Manual Flush by pressing down on the red lever located on the flush actuator, to remove all remaining water in tank. Remove lid and batteries from battery compartment and check below the spacer which holds the batteries in place (if you use AA batteries) to ensure no moisture is present in the compartment.  Unplug the white overflow sensor wire running out of the back of the tank, about a third of the way from the top of the tank. Place your hand under the battery pack and feel for a screw-like water sensor sticking down into the tank, this feels similar to a screw or a nail. Manually fill the tank with water with a bucket or pitcher to the tip of the screw-like sensor, should be barely touching water, but not fully submerged in water. Plug the white overflow sensor wire back in. Ensure no water present in battery compartment after filling up the tank. Place batteries back in battery compartment. + facing up on Left - facing up on Right. Replace the battery compartment lid and watch for a Green, Blue and Red light sequence on sensor. Turn water supply line back on. Hold your hand 2" away from the sensor to activate a flush. If the light on the sensor is solid Blue, the unit should be functioning normally. If the toilet still does not respond properly, please email or give us a call on our warranty line at 855-345-1345 at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to rectify this issue for you. We hope to hear from you soon! Have a wonderful day, Brandy Delta Faucet Company Customer Service

I am also having issues with the battery carrier, and rust on the battery prongs. Why would I have to replace the whole actuator, when the part itself cost more than the toilet?

Toilet won't flush

What do I do if my toilet is acting like it is flushing (correct light on display circle) and isn't flushing at all? We've changed the batteries to see if that would fix the problem. We've been having to you the manual flush for about 2 weeks now.

We have had our toilet for about 7 months.

The toilet has worked well, but we have had toreplace the batteries three times in this period. I've noticed this time there is moisture in the battery compartment and a little corrosion on the battery nodes. I scraped the nodes and replaced the batteries, but the sensor is still flashing red to denote low battery, and the toilet won't flush or fill. Anyone have this issue?
