Rated 2 out of 5 by from Multiple Flushes Required Aesthetically pleasing and easy to install. Flushing and cleansing performance is terrible. Multiple flushes required for the #2.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice toilet at a great price I Installed it myself, an easy job. I had to put a precision 1/4" deep dent in my wall, as the studs were too close to the wall to allow the lower toilet bowl part to clear. I sealed the bowl to the wall with white silicone sealer, not a big deal. The tank fit against the wall with good clearance, so if the back of the bowl did not protrude as far rearward, it would have been a straight swap from the old water hog. It is very nice in all other aspects.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaves residue in bowl I purchased this to replace a Kohler commode that broke. This toilet was easy to install, uses minimal water, is quiet and looks good (as toilets go) BUT every time I make number 2 it leaves residue

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed It takes 2-3 flushes to empty the commode

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor inner bowl design! Disappointed that this toilet is designed to conserve water but takes a minimum of 2 flushes to flush away most fecal matter! The inside front of the bowl wasn’t designed with enough slope so fecal matter sits there until you flush more than once. Also the water seems to go around the side area of the bowl as it flushes practically missing the fecal matter which causes fecal matter streaks to be left behind until they dissolve further in the standing bowl water after awhile than can be flushed away! Over very poor design for what its meant to do! Won’t by another Delta toilet and will replace this one when my budget slows! Waste of my $150.20 and that was the sale price & tax. Now I know why it was marked down from $169.00!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incomplete flush We bought two of these toilet one month ago and have installed one in our upstairs bathroom. My husband finds it great to use. As a women, I am struggling with the lack of water in the bowl and not having everything flush down the first time. We adjusted the water level but it seems I am flushing at least twice if not three times (too much information but this only happens with #2). We changed out our old round bowls for updated longer bowls and although it saves water, it might be going too far as the water clearly serves a purpose beyond what I realized. I am hesitant to install the second toilet in our downstairs bathroom as this one has been miserable so far. Unfortunately we already unboxed it and recycled the box.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs improved documentation Bought this about a month ago to replace an older toilet. Had I known that this was one of those ultra-low-flow flush units, I would have walked by it. Holding the handle down to perform a proper flush is horrible, and I presume this is something that's mandated by the EPA. Haven't had to take the plunger to this one...yet...but I'm sure that day will come soon enough given how little water is used during a single flush. Tried adjusting the water level to help compensate to no avail. Instructions fail to mention anything on adjusting water level on this unit. I have it in my mind to remove the included float assembly and replace it with something that will allow me to easily adjust the water level so that the tank will fill as it should. Oh, and the silent close lid. Nice addition, but it's that dirt cheap plastic junk. Come on Delta, put a proper lid on these things. The one included with this unit is flimsy at best. In all, I'm thoroughly disappointed with this unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flapper falls too soon enough for small duty use Just installed and have had trouble with the flapper falling too soon. I tried everything I could do remedy it - well maybe not everything. Also it seems that the toilet bowl should have more water in it. Looks like very low. Other than that it look stylish and we love the height. The slow lid close is welcome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean Complete Flush The action of this toilet is so modern. No swirling action, just swish and it is flushed, then the water replacement is started. Also, great to know that I am saving the processed water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install - good flushing Really like our new toilet. Well packaged and good price. Bought one, and it was so easy to install and worked so well, we bought another one. We’ve been using them a couple months and no clogs. There is water coming into the bowl a ways, so almost no smear marks! I’m already recommending to my family. Only problem is my second toilet came with a defect in the porcelain shape. I should have returned it because the defect is right in front (not perfectly rounded), but decided to install anyway. I also wish the lid didn’t flex. Still give them 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from you can't beat an elongated toilet I bought two of these toilets and installed both. I got them because I hated the oval ones that were in the house. They also conserve water. As an architect I like th functionally of this elongated toilet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Multiple flush issues It takes multiple flushes due to low water level in bowl. Been an issue from day one. Couldn't afford a more expensive one so we are stuck. The rest of the toilet is great. I miss the Kohler we had. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maximum Flush I read as many reviews before purchasing and found every word of the positive information to be accurately true. The design allows a maximum flush with less water and the design is sleek. I have bad knees and the height is perfect to be able to stand with ease. I highly recommend this product to anyone. Having everything included was a plus and the ease of putting it together was so simple, didn't really need any tools only tools needed for removing the old wax ring. Thank you Delta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A perfect replacement... I bought this to replace a fairly new, but defective cheaper Home Depot toilet. It had defective glazing in the bowl (no gloss- flat) and I was constantly cleaning it. This was in my own home. The Delta replacement performs well and is very efficient. It was only $25 more than the other one. Why I went cheap...who knows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked With 11" Rough-In This is my second Delta toilet, first was the Delta Turner for the master bathroom which fit and worked perfectly but my guest bathroom has a rough-in of exactly 11 inches so the Turner would not fit due to the tank rest hitting the wall before it could be seated so I had to return it. After reading lots of reviews regarding whether or not not another Delta toilet would fit I decided to buy an American Standard designed for 10 inch rough-in. After missing hardware, terrible fit and finish between the cheap soft close seat and having to use multiple shims to keep the toilet from rocking and horrible flush having to hold the handle down to work properly, I returned the American Standard Cadet 3 and purchased a much less expensive ($75.00) Delta Foundations Elongated toilet. Wow, that a huge difference in fit and finish and flushing improvements. You DO NOT have to hold the handle down for a quick flush, works every time. The seat is also a lot nicer with rubber bump stops that help keep the seat steady along with the soft close feature. As far as space behind the toilet I have about 1/4 inch between the wall and tank rest which is just enough space for the toilet tank to clear the wall with being pressed against like like my old Mansfield toilet tank. I would have never looked twice at Delta toilets had it not been for the glowing reviews on Home Depot's website. Seems like HD pushes more Kohler and American Standard than the lesser known toilet brands which is a shame because Delta ROCKS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Since I installed this one no more clogging, one flush is enough for solid waste, just hold the flush handle down extra 2 seconds. Also I like no slam seat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy as mongoose!! I "accidentally broke" my old 1985 hallway bathroom toilet whilst trying to do a good paint job and replaced it with this sweet Delta C43913-WH. It's sleek, elongated yet compact tank will save me in gallons per flush. I'd like to replace the rest of my toilets in the house with this brand and model.

how to adjust water level left in bowl after flush. (more)

Asked by: barbish
Hi, Barbish! Thank you for your question. While the Delta C43913-WH toilet is only designed to use 1.28 GPF (gallons per flush), you may also hold the flush lever down for a few seconds longer to allow for more water to flow through the tank into the bowl, which will help to clean the bowl and still conserve water, since older toilets were designed to use anywhere from 3-7 GPF. This will also allow for more water to stay into the bowl, the longer you hold the flush lever down. Best Regards, Rosanna

can this toilet be ordered with the flush lever on the opposite side?

Asked by: susan
Hello susan, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Foundations® Elongated Toilet and I am happy to assist you today. Unfortunately, we do not manufacture this model with a right-hand lever option and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are interested we do manufacture a dual flushing toilet which has 2 buttons located on the tank lid, model C43908D-WH. I hope this is helpful and again I am so sorry we do not offer a model with a lever located on the right although if we can assist you with anything else going forward, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 855-345-1345. What cleaning products does Delta approve for this model? I see that in-tank cleaners are highly discouraged, however; in the video I noticed that something colored the water blue to display the hydro flush technology.

Asked by: Lea29
Hi, Lea29! Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use in-tank cleaners. Products containing chlorine or chlorine-related products can seriously damage fittings in the tank, which can cause leakage and property damage. Best Regards, Rosanna
