Can you tell me the exact shower only valve by model # for what I need? I want to use PEX 1/2" crimp for hot and cold inlets as well as 1/2 PEX outlet to the shower head.

Asked by: thomas
Thank you for your inquiry, Thomas! You may connect PEX tubing to the Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000-PX valve using the proper tooling with crimping PEX fitting and cold expansion PEX models. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-R10000%20Rev%20J.pdf Best regards, Tanya

For the r100000-unwsbxt valve what is the maximum thickness that the thin wall can be? Also, my thin wall already has a circle of about 5” diameter cut out. Will the thin wall mounting kit have enough room to grip the wall given the cutout?

Asked by: Larry
Thank you for your question, Larry. For most installations, we would recommend mounting the valve to a stringer in the wall. If you are unable to do so, you can use the escutcheon plate from the trim kit and the plaster guard to "sandwich" the wall for added stability. If you will not have the trim kit when the valve is installed, we would recommend the R10000-UNBXT, which will include a thin-wall mounting kit. We recommend using the plaster guard to cut the hole in the wall, and in a thin-wall installation the plaster guard should be behind the wall. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBXT Best regards, Jon

For the R100000 valve body, which of the 13 models (UN, UNBX, UNBXHF, UNBXT, UNWS, UNWSHF, UNWSBXT, PX, PXWS, iP, IPWS, MF, or MFWS) will work with both standard stud walls or thin walls?  Also which model corresponds to Lowe’s r100000-lbx model?

Asked by: Larry
Hi, Larry! Thank you for your question. The Delta MultiChoice R10000-UNWSBXT and the Delta MultiChoice R10000-UNBXT will work with both standard stud walls and thin walls. Delta MultiChoice R10000-UNBX corresponds to the Lowe's R10000-LBX model. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can this be used as a diverter?

Asked by: Max4402
Hi, Max4402! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the Delta MultiChoice Universal Tub and Shower Valve Body (R10000-LBX) cannot be used as a diverter assembly. We recommend to use our Delta Diverter R11000. Here is a link to this diverter body: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000 Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the flow rate of r10000-lbx?

Asked by: henryabbott
Hi, Henryabbott! Thank you for your question. The R10000-LBX rough valve does not determine the flow rate. The flow rate is determined by the cartridge assembly that is inlcuded in valve trim kit for the rough valve. Best Regards, Rosanna

CAN VALVE BE ADJUSTED FOR TEMPATURE LIMITS

Asked by: LYNNDON
Dear Lynndon, Thank you for your question. The Delta MultiChoice Universal Rough-In Valve R10000-LBX is not designed with volume or temperature adjustments. The temperature can be adjusted on the cartridge assembly, that would come with the trim you get for your valve. Please see our How-To Video linked below or refer to your installation guide for help adjusting the stop. https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page?videoId=n2_uZ7wgV1I Best regards, Tanya
