What is the flow rate of r10000-lbx?

Asked by: henryabbott
Hi, Henryabbott! Thank you for your question. The R10000-LBX rough valve does not determine the flow rate. The flow rate is determined by the cartridge assembly that is inlcuded in valve trim kit for the rough valve. Best Regards, Rosanna

So, we just purchased new delta faucets and shower controls for 4 bathrooms. the house was built in 2003, do i have to tear out all the old valves and replace with the new ones? Seems as though i will have to tear out the bathroom shower wall

Asked by: Brian
Thank you for your question, Brian! I'm sorry for any confusion with your new Delta shower trims and we would be happy to help. The rough-in valve R10000-LBX accepts all multichoice single, dual, or dual thermostatic cartridges and will work with all T13/T14 or T17/T17T series trim kits. If you do not have a current multichoice universal valve, the trim kits may still work, however you will need to continue using the non-multichoice cartridge in order to use the trim kit as a multichoice cartridge will not work with an older valve body. If you do not have a Delta rough-in valve then you will need to remove these valves prior to using Delta trims kits with a compatible valve. Best regards, Edward

For the R100000 valve body, which of the 13 models (UN, UNBX, UNBXHF, UNBXT, UNWS, UNWSHF, UNWSBXT, PX, PXWS, iP, IPWS, MF, or MFWS) will work with both standard stud walls or thin walls?  Also which model corresponds to Lowe’s r100000-lbx model?

Asked by: Larry
Hi, Larry! Thank you for your question. The Delta MultiChoice R10000-UNWSBXT and the Delta MultiChoice R10000-UNBXT will work with both standard stud walls and thin walls. Delta MultiChoice R10000-UNBX corresponds to the Lowe's R10000-LBX model. Best Regards, Rosanna

which trim kits will this valve fit?

i don't understand difference between lbx, unbx, unws, .....ipw//// will the LBX (one lowe's carries in stock) fit all trim kits? whether they be shower only or tub and shower...thanks
Asked by: meangene
Hi Meangene, Thank you for your question. The R10000 is our multi-choice universal rough. The various model numbers include different types of connections to the valve like copper, pipe thread, or pex tubing. Most models also offer a WS version which come with built in screw driver stops. The LBX rough will fit all of our trims. Thanks, Dave

Can this be used as a diverter?

Asked by: Max4402
Hi, Max4402! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the Delta MultiChoice Universal Tub and Shower Valve Body (R10000-LBX) cannot be used as a diverter assembly. We recommend to use our Delta Diverter R11000. Here is a link to this diverter body: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000 Best Regards, Rosanna

Can you tell me the exact shower only valve by model # for what I need? I want to use PEX 1/2" crimp for hot and cold inlets as well as 1/2 PEX outlet to the shower head.

Asked by: thomas
Thank you for your inquiry, Thomas! You may connect PEX tubing to the Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000-PX valve using the proper tooling with crimping PEX fitting and cold expansion PEX models. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-R10000%20Rev%20J.pdf Best regards, Tanya
