Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great valve Used for shower only. Easy to install. Being that it’s universal there are many options for faucets. Delta’s customer service is second to none when it comes to honoring their warranty. Great company and great valve. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely easy to install ! Replaced another kitchen faucet that wasn't a Delta, the delta is so much better quality, easy to install and if it last as long as the rest of the delta products I have in my home, I shouldn't have to replace this one for a long, long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as expected Not much to say. How do you review a rough in valve? It arrived as advertised, was installed by a professional plumber, and so far is functioning properly. I hope that remains the case as it is now buried behind expensive tile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good Our contractor installed this valve in our new bathroom. We purchased the one with "service stops" because we were told these "stops" allowed you to turn off the water here and not have to turn water off to the whole house. It seems to work because our shower works fine. Obviously, I'm not a contractor and had no clue what this was for, but our contractor indicated it worked fine, too. I'm not sure how much these cost at retail and I can't speak about the quality other than our experience. It seems to do the job it's supposed to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DELTA R10000-UNBX I almost exclusively use Delta faucets so I go through many of these. The valve is well made brass and you can knock out the reducer for commercial applications to increase flow rate. The bracket is another story. It is usually damaged from the box (bent) and is made of cheap composite metal so bending it back usually breaks it. It also won't stand up to the torch while sweating. I buy several extra brackets to keep on hand to replace. Maybe Delta will make them out of brass one day...

Temp adjustment for R10000-UNWS

I just had a bathroom remodel completed and they didn't adjust the valve correctly (I guess) as I don't get any hot water. I looked at the video but didn't recognize any of the valves used. The trim kit I have is a Linden, T14294RB.
Asked by: Roger
Hi Roger, Thank you for contacting us. On a new installation, you may need to adjust the Rotational Limit Stop to get hot water. Please see our How-To Video linked below or refer to your installation guide for help adjusting the stop. http://www.deltafaucet.com/tools-resources/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=n2_uZ7wgV1I&cat= Thanks, Jon

What is the flow rate of the R-10000UNWSHF ? I want to use it as a tub filler only.

What trims can I use with this valve to get the most flow?
Asked by: Bunyan
Dear Bunyan, Thank you for your question! At 60 PSI, a wall-mount tub faucet will run at 5.6 gallons per minute or more, depending on the trim and valve you choose. Here is the flow rate comparison information. R10000-HF(60PSI)(80PSI) 13/14 7.3gpm 8.6gpm 17 6.7gpm 7.8gpm 17T 9.4gpm 10.7gpm For large tubs, we recommend to use a deck-mount or floor-mount tub filler. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/bathing?type=Delta_Bathroom_Bathing_Tub+Fillers Best regards, Tanya

What is the difference between Model # R10000-UNWS and Model # R10000-UNWS-3
Asked by: NSL
Hi NSL! Thanks for your question! The R10000-UNWS-3 is the same valve except the package contains 3 valves. So if you are wanting to purchase just one valve, you'll want to purchase the R10000-UNWS. Best Regards, Justin

What valve extension kit goes with VALVE 10000UNWS

Asked by: Robin
Hi Robin, Thank you for your question. The only extension kit available for the R10000-UNWS works if you are using a 17 series thermostatic trim. The part number is RP75136. If you are using a T13, T14, or a T17 series pressure balanced trim, there is no extension kit available that will work with the R10000-UNWS. Thanks, Dave
