Can you tell me what the flow rate @ 50 psi is on the R2700?

Asked by: Denny
Hi, Denny! Thank you for your question. The flow rate for the roman tub unit will be determined by the trim kit that is used for the unit rather than the rough valve body. If you should need further assistance with this, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

I am trying to remove the spout and attach some fittings to the RP18364 Spout adapter assembly in order to convert it into a shower. Can anyone tell me if you can attach any standard threaded nipple or bushing to this part to custom modify the outlet?

Asked by: Drewsumski4
Drewsumski4, Thank you for your question. This valve is only designed for a deck-mount Roman tub faucet. You may add a deck-mount hand shower by connecting a transfer valve, such as RP33791LHP. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP33791LHP Best regards, Jon

I purchased this kit brand new and installed it per the installation guide. The hot water valve's stem is set to turn off just like the cold water side. So hot water turns clockwise just like cold water side. Need a hot water stem.

Asked by: Shad
Hello Shad! Thank you for your question. We do not make a stem specifically for the hot or cold side. The end valves must be oriented as shown in Step 1. of the installation guide with the Hot Valve on the left and both inlet tubes installed away from the spout. The stem unit can be adjusted if the valve is installed correctly so that the raised stop is facing the right, with the flat side of the stem facing away from spout. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/47793%20Rev%20D.pdf Best regards, Edward

I have the spout off( was a 20 year old classic Delta T2710 ). The valve looks like this R2700 but could be the R2707 since they both appear the same from looking ontop. Was the R2707 avail 1994 or was it just the R2700 as it will determine what new trim.

Asked by: ali Marco
Hello Ali! The only determining factor on the trim you can replace this model with, would be the set screw placement. If the set screw is on the back of your spout, then any current T27 roman tub trim will work with either rough in valve. If you have an anti swivel pin in the front, many models could also work, however they may not fully cover the existing hole in the deck. The R2707 utilizes jack screws which can be adjusted above the deck. If you do not see a silver washer with a screw below it after removing the handles, then you have the R2700 rough valve. My Delta spout is 20 years old (the classic in chrome with the crystal ball handles). "If" there was an anti swivel screw originally done, would there be a way to detach the spout and just put a new Delta spout on (with out going under neath the deck)

Asked by: ali Marco
Dear Ali Fl, Thank you for your question. Yes, If your current tub spout has a set screw on the back side of the spout, then any of our newer Delta trim kits that start with a T27 will interchange for you. However, the spout assembly may partially cover the anti-swivel pin hole in the deck. Best regards, Tanya
