How to fill this dispenser?
Ok, you have no technical documents available, no illustrations with the previous questions, very poor instructions in the previous answers,if we didn't install the unit, which I didn't.
I tried the quarter turn, nothing, I tried removing the pump top, only to find a minuscule little orifice. ( if that is the hole to refill, I am returning this product). Long story short, for someone who has not seen any technical instructions, did not install the product. Just exactly how does a person refill this? Remember you handle this every day, I don't, so please utilize layman's terms
It pulls off the base but chances are you will break a fragile tab in the process (I did). Beyond doubt, the worse design I have ever encountered for a soap dispenser.

Is there a trick to get the top of soap dispenser off to fill it? We can't get it apart to fill it.
Thank you for your question, Wesley! The Delta Allora soap dispenser, model RP47280AR, can be filled by pulling the head assembly straight up and off of the base. Please contact us directly if you need further assistance with this model.

Is the Allora bar faucet metal or plastic? (Arctic stainless)
Is the matching soap dispenser metal or plastic?
Thank you for your question. The Delta Allora Bar/Prep faucet use either metal and plastic combination or a proprietary mixture of components so that the product has a high quality, while maintaining safety control with the various temperatures of water that go through the product. The RP47280AR is all non-metallic.
Delta Faucet Company takes extreme pride in the quality of its products, and strives daily to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.

It was my understanding that the soap dispenser package included a funnel to fill it. I received no funnel. There are no directions as to how to open the dispenser and how full it should be filled so to allow air into the bottle and pump to function properly.
I don't want to force it open & break a mechanism.
Thank you for your question. Funnels are not included with our soap dispensers. All of the Delta Faucet soap dispenser are recommended to be filled from the top. We recommend filling it to the neck of the bottle.

I need installation instructions, just purchased one and it must have been one that was returned.
Thank you for your question. I have also included a link to the instructions below. The soap dispenser installation instructions are on page 9 module 5. Here are the directions for installing the RP47280AR soap/lotion dispenser. Remove the bottle (1). Separate head (2) from body assembly (3). Make sure gasket (4) is properly seated in the base of the body assembly. Insert body assembly through selected hole in sink. Secure body assembly to sink with nut and gasket (5). From under the sink screw the bottle (1) onto the body assembly shank, then attach head assembly. Note: To fill, lift the head and pump assembly out of the bottle and pour not more than 8 oz. into bottle. DO NOT remove the bottle each time as this weakens the neck. Use a funnel to help prevent spills. Pull pump and head assembly out occasionally to soak and pump warm water through pump to remove soap build-up. Note: Initially it may take up to 12 pumps to bring soap to the pump tip.
