Rated 1 out of 5 by from We bought this head for the design and rainshower effect but after a few yrs of use it started to perform poorly. We took the head off and soaked it to try and help flow but to a avail. It doesn't appear there is any calcium build up but the flow has become increasingly poor.

What other components need to be purchased to install this unit new?

Asked by: loriboy
Hi Loriboy, Thank you for your question. The model RP61274RB shower head would need to be combined with our R10000 rough in valve and any of our faucet trims to make a complete faucet. We do offer several (LHD) less showerhead model trims that you can mount the showerhead on. http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/results.html?q=lhd Thanks, Dave

how to clean inside shower head

Asked by: james
Hi, James! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP61274 shower head can be cleaned by removing the shower head from the shower arm and placing it into a bowl of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to clean any debris that maybe caught inside of the unit. Best Regards, Rosanna

CLEAN

HOW DO YOU REMOVE HARD WATER SPOTS ON BRUSHED NICKEL SHOWER HEAD
Asked by: F
Hi F, Thank you for oyur question. We recommend that you always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners Thanks, Dave
