How far does the water shoot out from body jet Hydro Choice Body Choice System with SH5005?

Asked by: Shebra
Hi Shebra1979, Thank you for your question. The distance that the water shoots out from the Delta HydraChoice H2Okinetic Body Spray would usually depend on the water pressure used. For instance, at 60 PSI this body spray will spray 3 feet before dropping off significantly. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/shower/hydrachoice-body-sprays# Best regards, Tanya

I currently have shower jets 50100, I am looking to replace as I am looking for more of a massage versus hard spray. Can I use the existing rough in plumbing for this model if I was to leave the Hydro Spray (SH5005) in the extended position?

Asked by: smontag212
Hello smontag212, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this will not work with the existing plumbing for the 50100 body spray. HydraChoice Spray Heads require an R50200 Rough and a HydraChoice Trim such as the T50010 or T50210. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R50200 https://www.deltafaucet.com/search-results?searchTerm=hydrachoice+trim Best regards, Jon

Jeff L, Thank you for your question! This unit is designed to run at 1.0 GPM. The flow rate may be reduced at pressures lower than 40 PSI. Best regards, Jon

Are the Delta and Brizo roughins and spray heads exactly the same? The Deltas are slightly less expensive.

Asked by: dm
Hi, dm! Thank you for your question. The parts for both Delta and Brizo are the same and can be interchangeable, however prices may vary from brand to brand. Best Regards, Rosanna

Spray Head SH5005 extends when water turned on and can be adjusted in any direction. Will it stay in set position once water turned off ?

Asked by: Val
Hi Val, Thank you for your question. The spray head will stay in the same position when the water is turned off. You can leave it in this position or press it back into the spray body. What is the difference between the massaging and invigorating sprayheads?

Considering placing these sprays in my master bath shower renovation. I'd like to know what the difference is. I can guess on the touch clean and the soothing.
Asked by: Calisity
Hi Calisity, Thank you for your question. The soothing head offers a gentle wave pattern, the massaging head offers waves of water that converge in a hydro massage, the invigorating head uses forceful streams of water, and the touch clean is a full spray pattern. Thanks, Dave
