Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diverter model T11800 I purchased the wrong diverter - during construction we decided to add a third outlets (rain shower) thinking the diverter would accommodate. This diverter has three options - shower head, hand held or both (per product description). I needed to purchased another diverter with six options to accommodate rain shower. Otherwise product is great. Buyer beware or don't change your mind after buying this diverter. But, if you do, you can always buy another insert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item I'm a contractor and I always buy Delta fixtures. They have a great fit and finish. The customers are always pleased with their fixtures new and through the many years of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We bought the delta t11800 diverter in chrome to control water from shower head to hand held shower. the contractor didn't have any problems installing the rough-in value (r11000). and the diverter itself looks great. the overall design is simple and sleek, and the diverter functions smoothly. we purchased a 2 gpm hand shower head and notice a slight dip in water pressure overall when we have both on at the same time. you can't avoid that, I think. it's been 9 months since we've updated the shower and I can't think of a single complaint.

I'm assuming that I can fill the bathtub and run the shower or a hand-held at the same time. Am I correct? Thanks for your assistance. Multitask

Asked by: Multitask
Hello Multitask, Thank you for your question. This diverter will allow you to run two components, together or individually. The diverter valve is not designed to have a tub spout connected to it You would connect the diverter tub spout to the bottom port of the valve. Best regards, Tanya

Is there a brushed nickel option

I purchased the Porter 142984-BN-A and wanted to add a brushed nickel wand. Is there a brushed nickel available to match? All i see the stainless that “appears” close
Asked by: Isaac
Thank you for your question. We do not make a diverter trim in the Brushed Nickel finish. However, Stainless Steel is a brushed finish that is very similar to Brushed Nickel. We recommend comparing them in the store. Best regards, Jon

Which valve is this"

I have a 3 position diverter that came in a 3/6 box (T11800 versis T11900). The replacement sent is says this on the stem "Fluhs 60567 and 161117". I can't compare with the temp. installed 3, but it looks the same. Delta pic on site for 6 shows (all I can see) https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP51919 "uhs __563 and __1109" which leads me to believe it is again the 3/6. Maybe in the future Delta could show all numbers on parts instead of just partial!!!!

Is there trim that can be used when the hole for the diverter is larger than the trim?

I have the t11800 and I made the hole the same size as the valves. the depth is about on the money slight in too far so the plate can push out the diverter trim too much. Thanks, Steve
Asked by: Steve
Thank you for your question, Steve. The RP42414 will fit behind the plate, and may help cover the hole. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP42414 Technical Specifications: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-T11855%20Rev%20D.pdf Best regards, Jon

At 60PSI, what is the flow rate (in GPM) from each port when not in the shared position? and from each port when in the shared position?

Asked by: Steve
Hello Steve, Thank you for your question. The GPM ( gallons per minute) of the positions for the T11800/R11000 diverter valve depends on the components being used and the trim/cartridge of the control valve. Below is a general chart: Approximate Outlet Flow Rate (gpm) Pressure (psi) 13 Series 17 Series 17T Series 30 3.7 3.5 4.0 40 4.3 4.1 4.6 50 4.8 4.6 5.1 60 5.3 5.0 5.6 70 5.7 5.4 6.1 80 6.1 5.8 6.5 Best regards, Brandis

Can this faucet be configured to have an off position?

I would like to be able to have overhead shower or a wand or the off position not both in one position.
Asked by: Dan
Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. This diverter will allow you to run two components, together or individually. The diverter cannot be configured to turn the water off to both units. You must have a separate valve to control the flow and temperature of the water, such as a 14, 17, or 17T series unit. To narrow narrow down your selection, please click the link below. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/tubshower/filter.html Best regards, Jon

Depth of installation problem

I have this R11000 diverter with the T11800 trim kit. I had a plumber do all the rough-in, but now that the tile is up and I'm installing the trim, I've found that the plumber put the valve at the wrong depth. While the shower valve trim (a Symmons) itself was fine, the diverter backplate is actually sitting 3/8" from the wall. Is there an alternate trim or a extension plate available that resolve this? Untiling the wall is not an acceptable solution! Thank you, Larry B
Asked by: LarryB
Hi Larry, We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem with your installation. Unfortunately if the valve is plumbed out too far we do not offer any alternative trim rings or extensions to fix the issue. The valve will have to be replumbed. Step 1 of the attached installation manual shows the dimension at which the diverter rough should be installed. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/r11000.html?document=mi&fromDetailArea=bath&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Thanks, Dave
