Hi! Im trying to install this diverter in my shower but in my case my hand shower is at my right side and the 3 positions diverter only works on my left where I don't have anything, It's possible to use it on the center and the right positions?
Thank you for your question. To have the Delta 3-Setting Diverter Trim T11859-CZ function properly, you would need to cap off the right side port of the diverter valve. If you decide to cap off the left port instead of the right port, you will need to purchase separately the 6-setting RP51919 diverter cartridge. This would provide you with your three function settings and a few dead spots.

We want to use a rain head, hand head and regular shower head with these but we want them to work individually. Will we need the non shared cartridge or would we need to go up to a 3 port diverter trim instead of a 2 port?
Thank you for your question. The Delta T11859-BL will work with only two shower components. We recommend to use T11959-BL, this will allow 3 shared settings and 3 individual settings, 6 settings in all.

water loss when coecting to tub spout
will there be water loss if you conect this tem directly to tub spout
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend connecting a tub spout to this Delta 3-Setting Diverter T11859 unit. The flow rate from the diverter will not be great enough to spout the flow rate needed for a tub spout. The tub spout must be connected to the bottom port of the main MultiChoice Universal Rough-In R10000-UNBX valve.

How does the diverter work?
I want to put in a showerhead, bathtub spout, and have a handheld on a drop elbow. Which diverter would I need in order to have water running through both the showerhead and the handheld at the same time but still have the option to turn one off while the other is on. Which rough in would I need too please? Maybe you could explain what "3-setting" and 2-port" mean.
Thank you for your question! The 3-Setting trim will allow you to operate the shower head and handheld individually or together. 2-Port refers to the number of ports on the rough-in that the trim can use. This trim would require the R11000 diverter valve.
The tub spout should be connected to the bottom port of the R10000 (on/off, temperature) valve, rather than to the diverter valve.

Will this trim work with two body sprays and one rain can shower head?
I want to purchase the T17T259-SSH2O shower trim and two body sprays, 50100-SS. I would like to be able to use the shower head separately, the two body sprays together, and then all three components together. Can I use this trim such that the two body sprays together are one individual position and then the shower head will be the second individual position. I realize I also need the R11000 valve and the R10000-UNBXHF valve.
Thank you for your question. Delta model T11859-SS will be compatible with both T17T259-SSH2O and 50100-SS. It will also provide you with the three settings you are looking for.
