About how often does a cartridge have to be changed? Have recently bought Delta Series 13 T13420 Tub & Shower Trim w/ cartridge.

Asked by: Jane
HI Jane, Thank you for your inquiry! The cartridge assembly that comes with the Delta Classic Tub and Shower T13420 faucet, does not have a shelf life or expiration date. We would advise reaching out to our customer service team at 1-800-345-3358 or customerservice@deltafaucet.com if there is anything you need. Best regards, Tanya

Hello, What is the difference in T13420-PD and T13420-PDSOS

Asked by: baku
Dear Baku, Thank you for your question. The difference between the Delta Classic Tub/Shower T13420-PD and T13420-PDSOS models are the tub spouts. The tub spout installation for the T13420-PD model is a threaded 1/2" IPS fitting. The tub spout installation for the T13420-PDSOS model is a slip on 1/2" IPS fitting. Best regards, Tanya

Replacing with Brushed Nickel

I am remodeling my bathroom and would like to update the T13420-PDSOS with a new brushed Nickel set. If possible, I;d like to do so without replacing the valves and rough plumbing. Any suggestions on a product that would work for me? Thanks.
Asked by: kfuemmel
Hi kfuemmel, Thank you for your question. Your model T13420-PDSOS would have been installed with our R10000 multichoice rough in valve. Since this is a multichoice valve you will be able to change your existing trim to any of our current trims while still using your existing valve behind the wall. Here is a link to the models that we offer in our brillaince stainless finish. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/tubshower/filter-results.html?sort=pricehighlow&finish=ss&type=type-tub-tubshower Thanks, Dave
