I currently have the silverton collection purchased at Home Depot by my contractor for my tub &shower fixtures. I'm looking to replace them with the Vero 14 series tub faucet, shower & tub trim. Are they compatible-if I can use the same valves?
Thank you for your question. As long as the screw holes on your large round escutcheon plate are at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions and you do not have a push button shower diverter directly below the off and on handle, then the Delta Vero T14053 and any of our trim kits that start with a T13 or a T14 will interchange for you.

Can I use this as tub only? No shower head
I'm building a new home and I would like to use this strictly as a tub filler. I bought the Delta T14253 Vero Monitor 14 Series Shower Trim for the stand up shower and wanted to match the trim for the airbath tub. Would this work for tub only?
Hi, Steve D.
Thank you for your question. The T14053 can be used as a tub only unit. You will want to plug the top port on the R10000 valve body. You will want to use a non-diverter tub spout. The non-diverter tub spout that matches the Vero collection is RP48333.

Is the valve cartridge included when I buy the Vero Monitor 14 Valve Trim?
I know we have to buy the valve separately but not sure about the valve cartridge
Also, can we use this valve for shower ONLY; no tub?
MultiChoice(R) Universal Tub and Shower Valve Body - R10000-UNBX
Thanks for your time!
Hi m66, Thank you for your question. The cartridge will ship with the T14053 trim. You can use the R10000-UNBX in a shower only application. You will cap off/plug the tub port on the valve.

Will T14053 turn the water off?
Thank you for the reply to my previous question, I don't know how to reply to it. My question wasn't really answered, maybe I confused you with the addition of my plan details, I'll leave it out this time.
It's my understanding that T14053 is a trim, that also ships with the valve?
I know that R10000-UNBXHF is the housing for the valve and supports this trim style T14053.
My question is will T14053 turn the water off?
or is it just a thermostatic valve? If that is what Delta's Monitior technology means?
Some valves will only change the temperture of the water, and will not shut them off - in those cases you would need to add volume control valves. That is why I'm asking.
Thank you for your question and I apologize for the confusion. Delta Faucet model # T14053 is an on/off valve. The handle controls the temperature only. The volume is not controllable.

Will this valve turn the water off?
My plan was for a full tile shower
Will I be able to turn the water off? or do I have to add a volume control valve?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model R10000-UNBXHF is your valve that will turn your water on and off. The T14053 is a trim for the R10000-UNBXHF. It is a valve trim only without a tub spout or a showerhead. The R11000 is a diverter valve that is paired with the T11953 diverter trim which is a 6-Setting 3-port diverter. You may add 2 more devices like a handheld shower, another showerhead, or a set of 2-3 body sprays when using this diverter. If you are going to use the R10000-UNBXHF, you can not use a tub spout. If you have a tub spout too, we suggest the R10000-UNBX.
