Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern look with Delta Trinsic We recently remodeled the master bath and used the Delta Trinsic line of fixtures and accessories. All were ordered from Build.com and were delivered quickly, completely and damage free. High quality components and the installation was easy. Overall it has a very modern look and works flawlessly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Delta shower head I was pretty disappointed with this shower head. It’s all plastic, only one water/spray setting the smaller less expensive matte black head I got at the same time for my kids shower by Moen is much better!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look an finish! I love the look and finish of this shower head and control lever. It is very nice to be able to control pressure separate from temperature. My only complaint is that there is 2 visible phillips screw heads on the circular plate of the valve trim. This takes away from the overall look and makes it look cheaper than it is. Other then that, well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shower Love this shower. The main head provides a wonderful spray and the handheld makes getting hard to reach spots easy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Long on looks, short on function I am astonished at these reviews. This shower head is in our new house and I am replacing it ASAP. Poor water pressure, no adjustments. You get what you see: 8 perforations for water. I use the delta handheld sprayer to rinse the shampoos from my hair.

temperature & volume control relationship

I have 2 showers with T17259 shower controls and they both work the same. If the volume control is turned down, the temperature gets colder and can't be maintained hot enough no matter what the temperature lever is set to. If the volume is set close to full on it works fine. The safety temperature limit is turned up all the way on both of these. What can be done about this?
Asked by: Brad
Hi Brad, Thank you for your question. The valve is designed to provide only cold water at low volume as a safety feature. We recommend to use the faucet with the handle all the way to the "ON" position. Best regards, Jon

Is there any adjustment for the actual water stream on this head?

Asked by: Courtney
Hi, Courtney! Thank you for your question. The shower head only has one setting so it cannot be readjusted to a different setting or stream. I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Best Regards, Rosanna

My Trinsic shower gets very little hot water flow

Brand new shower and no one want to use it because the water doesn't get hot enough. My plumber has adjusted the cartridge as much as he can. What can I do?
Asked by: Slemaster38
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17259 contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through the valve. Included here are the instructions for adjusting the limit stop. The directions are on page 9 of this booket. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t17259.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Thanks. Jody

What does the button labeled OFF control? It shows in the picture but there is not explanation of what it does.

Asked by: Barb
Hi Barb, Thank you for your question. The model T17259 has the words off and on etched onto the round escutcheon, but no off button. The on/off are showing the handle location relative to the water flow. Thanks, Dave

Will I be able to upgrade?

I currently have a series 1400 shower trim and I have a few questions: 1- will I be able to upgrade to the trinsic 17 series without digging up our tile wall to change the valve? 2- is there a tub facet that will match this set? Thank you so much in advance!
Asked by: New Yorker
Thank you for your question. If you have a multi-choice valve in your wall with the 1400 series you have now, then you will be able to upgrade to the 1700 Trinsic series. However, if your valve is not a multi-choice valve(Delta Faucet model R10000), then you will not be able to upgrade to the 1700 series without replacing the valve. Trinsic does offer a 1400 series tub and shower which is model # T14459 and a 1700 series tub and shower which is model # T17459. There is not a tub only available model in either level.
