The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. This integrated dual-functionality gives you maximum flexibility without sacrificing warmth, as you can choose to have water streaming from the shower head only, the hand shower only or both the shower head and hand shower at once. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. An ornate blend of deep, warm tones and subtle highlights give Venetian Bronze® a hand-brushed look that can transform a bath. Offering a smooth contrast to light tones and coordinating well with darker ones, this finish can have a beautiful soothing effect on almost any space. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leaking & no force Bought the shower recently, and was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, it's not working as its suppose to be.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Acceptable Bought it for the look. Performance is eh. Very low pressure which I don’t mind because I have no hair on my head. Luckily it’s my shower and not my wife’s. She has a full head of hair and this thing would take forever to rinse. Also, the hot/cold setting switch is shaky/loose. Unfortunately, can’t try before buying. Installed by a professional (not by myself).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty parts Both the diversion switches malfunctioned. The one on the shower head fell off after minimal use. It can be pushed back on, but is not very secure. The one on the handheld shower gradually became very stiff until now it won't turn; the last attempt to turn it resulted in the knob breaking off (plastic!).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good style for our new shower & convenient. After remodeling our bathroom & enlarging the shower, this faucet is a good choice & very convenient features. Like the separate heads but yet contained in one holder without separate mounting. Very convenient when cleaning shower to be able to use head on hose for rinsing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful finish and excellent quality. This faucet isn’t just beautiful with a high end look, it is also very practical. With the removal shower head it allows you to clean the shower easier as well as bath your pets with ease. Absolutely love this delta product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Had high hopes I've had this unit for a year and now the hand held shower head falls out when the water is turned on. There needs to be some kind of positive contact which still allows for easy removal. I am also not a fan of the inflexibility of the hose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice features We now have this in all three of our bathrooms. Love the ability to adjust the temperature without increase the volume of water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has design I love my new In2ition shower combo! I got it in a bronze and it looks absolutely elegant! The hot cold setting is easy to operate and set. I love the option of just having the handheld on but when you put it on the showerhead and the handheld it feels like a glorious summer rain but strong enough to get the job done. I live on a well and I also love the water conservation part of it. Love it all!!!

New cartridge required?

I currently have a Multichoice 13/14 series, model number RP46074 in our wall for a 142710-SS-I, which only has the temp control. I want to buy this Linden In2ition model to match the sink and roman tub faucets in our bathroom (and to get the volume control), but am not sure if I need to buy a new cartridge? The Universal Rough valve is already in the wall. Will the 13/14 series work or do I need to buy a Monitor 17 series cartridge?
Asked by: TXRedhead
Thank you for your question. If you want to be able to control the volume and the temperature, you will need to purchase the 1700 series trim. Since you have a multi-choice valve in the wall, you will not need to upgrade the rough.

Wall mount for In2ition Two in One

I want to install an In2ition Two in One shower head mounted on an arm per instructions, but I would like to enable smaller children to shower with the hand held part by having a wall mount lower on the wall. Will a Delta wall mount work for this purpose? If so, which one would you recommend? It will be installed by a professional.
Asked by: SpeckledCat
Based on the picture, the mount that was recommended appears to have an opening to attach a hose. I want to use the shower head on the arm for adults and use just the handheld portion on a lower mount for children to stand under or use hand held. Will part U4005-SS-PK serve that purpose? I don't mean to be a difficult or slow here--just trying to find out what I need to do, but my knowledge about plumbing fixtures is limited. Thank you!

Does the stationery head swivel?

I need to be able to pivot the stationery head side-to-side and up-and-down, does it work this way?
Asked by: TDA
Yes it does turn, but because the combination of a regular showerhead and a handheld makes it heavy, it may not "hold" a position very well. The handheld is very convenient for showering and cleanups, so you may not need it to pivot as much as you would with a standard shower head.

I recently had 17 Sereies 2 in 1 Shower head installed in new shower. As the plumber installed it, temp lever wrong way

A plumber did rough-in & install. I called him back because to make water cooler I have to move lever to red side & for hotter to blue side. Which is not logical. He couldn't fix. He was going to check web to see if the valve could be put in "reversed". What went wrong & how does he fix it? Is the red & blue plate to be facing up or down towards floor - would that correct it?
Asked by: Grover
Hi Grover, I am sorry to hear about the trouble that you are having with your faucet and I would be happy to help. From the description of the problem, the internal cartridge in your faucet was installed upside down. You or the plumber will need to turn the water off to the faucet, remove the cartridge, flip it over 180 degrees and reinstall. This will ensure that the hot is on the red side and the cold is on the blue side.

I bought this shower head and because of restricted water flow, my Renai water heater thinks the hot water has stopped running when I adjust the temperature to be comfortable for a shower. So, it's either too hot or I have no hot water. What can be done?

Asked by: DReed
Thank you for your question, DReed! A Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure. Because of this, if you have an on-demand or tankless water heater, it may need to be adjusted so that it activates with less flow. We also recommend lowering the temperature of the hot water in your home if it is above 120 degrees. Best regards, Edward

Installing 17-series Linden shower fixture

I am replacing my old, gold plated, Delta Monitor 15-series shower fixtures and have two questions. \ - First, the cartridge which came with the new 17-series Linden shower kit I orderd has a part with 2 rubber o-rings that is supposed to be screwed into the rough in fitting. But my rough in fitting does not have a place for the screw to be inserted, and it has two o-rings mounted in the rough-in fitting already. Do I need to replace the wall mounted rough-in fitting, or is there another option? -Second, the new kit does not come with a chrome bonnet nut to replace the old, gold-plate bonnet nut that is on the rough-in fitting. Is there a way to order just the chrome bonnnet nut?
Asked by: Tim
Thank you for your question. When upgrading from a 1500 series to a 1700 series, the cartridge that is included with your 1700 series will not work. You will need to order and purchase a model RP32104 to fit in your older valve. Also you will need to purchase the bonnet nut as it is not included in the trim package. It is now included in the rough-in package of our multi-choice valves. The model number for the bonnet nut is RP22734.

Also, which In2ition model is this that comes with this kit? It's really hard to tell what the difference is online in the different In2ition models other than the price.

How will performance be with only 45 psi?

I am on a well and have approx 45 psi. The stationary shower is rated 2.5 gpm at 80 psi, as well as the hand held shower. What will be the effects with my pressure and can feasibly use both showers at the same time with good results? Would the HF rough in help? Thank you!

Which rough valve to be used with T17294-SS-I? R10000-UNBX or R10000-UNWS or other and why?

Either will work, but I chose the UNWS as it has integrated service stops you can access by removing the shower trim plate. This means you can turn off the water to the shower without having to turn off the water to the whole house.

What cleaning products are suggested for this shower head unit?

Asked by: KKrizzy
Hello KKrizzy, Thank you for your question. We recommend for cleaning to always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners Best regards, Tanya
