What is the difference between model:T17430-SSSOS and model: T17430-SS
I am very interested in purchasing this style fixture but I want to make sure to pick the correct one. I see different model numbers, yet no listed difference between the two. Help!
Also, what is the warranty on this fixture set?
Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Classic Tub and Shower Trim kits T17430-SS and T17430-SSSOS are the same collection style and series. However, the tub spout assembly that comes with the T17430-SSSOS kit is a slip on installation for 1/2" CWT. The tub spout that comes with the T17430-SS sweats or threads onto 1/2" CWT or IPS.

I want a faucet etc where I can adjust the volume of H2O (get a small stream of warm H2O and temp separately with no water restriction
Site specs state "2.00 gpm @ 80 psi, 7.6 L/min @ 550 kPa maximum water usage
The plumbers have me very confused. Some say there is something in the "cartridge" that prevents water from getting very hot and restricts flow. Does this mean if U have long hair and it takes a bit of volume and a bit longer to get soap outta hair that we will get frozen at the end or that the stream of water will be very weak?????
Hi PJ, Thank you for your question. Our 17 series trims offer separate temperature and volume control that will allow you to adjust the water volume.
The T17430-SOS is capable of producing approximately 6 gallons per minute flowrate at 60psi. The showerhead that comes with this model has a max flowrate of 2.0 gpm. The maximum flowrate allowed in showerheads is 2.5 gpm. We do not offer a faucet with unrestricted flowrates out of the showerhead.
All of the cartridges are equipped with a rotational limit stop that allow you to set the max hot water temperature for the faucet. This feature is to protect against scalding.

The T17430SOS states "WaterSense certification promotes water conservation"
What exactly does this mean - is it like the thing in a showerhead that reduces flow? We don't want to restrict volume/pressure due to girls getting soap out of long hair!!! What to do???
Hi PJ, Thank you for your question. Showerheads that earn the WaterSense label must demonstrate that they use no more than 2.0 gpm.

I have an old Delta monitor shower faucet and I'm looking for a new handle.
It had a "crystal" handle for the volume control and was installed in my house ca 1992.
Thank you for your question. Based on your description of your handle, it sounds like you have a1300/1400 series. The model number for a crystal handle is Delta Faucet model # H71.
