Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, sleek design I bought this shower trim package several months ago in the stainless steel finish and have been very happy with the look and function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern, solid, and a "spa-like" shower experience We bought this when we renovated our full hall bath. Our contractor liked that it had a "dual diverter," which I think means you can control how much water comes out separately from the temperature of that water. The shower head is a close mimic of a above-head rain shower head for those spaces that don't allow that type of installation. Would buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from delta finish is terrible Delta has no representation in California and they do not stand behind the product finish. i have a Delta drydon fixture in my shower and it is all spotted and Delta said it was my fault and that they will not warranty fixture finish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from will not last...now leaking at seams Our contractor installed this kit in a new master bath. It looks wonderful and the the faucet functions very well. We've had it almost two years and last week the shower head started spewing water out the top around the straight edged seams. This is not a connection, it is part of the head itself. This is high up near the ceiling. No one can even reach it so it never gets handled. ...just broke. Bad design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dont buy this product difficult to clean I bought this a few month ago and with in the first week I was not able to get the water spots out of the finish. I used water and vinegar as delta recommends and when that did not work I used stainless cleaner on one of the items and still the water stains did not come out. Deltas response to mu complain was that they are not responsible for water stains. I have not had this problem with other brands and since delta will not stand behind their products I recommend you purchase other brands

Slip-On tub spout installation

In case C_1 - "Slip-On tub spout installation" in manual, for the spout included in the pack, there is no O-ring inside the spout touching cooper pipe and so water will leak. Also if you slide spout over copper tube there is no set screw under it to tighten. So what is the solution?
Asked by: Ali
Thank you for your question Ali. Model # T17453 has a tub spout that can be either sweat onto a 1/2" copper pipe or thread onto a 1/2" iron pipe. The RP12307 adapter assembly is included for this purpose. I apologize for any confusion as the instructions show general installation methods which vary from home to home. Best regards, Edward

Tub Spout has pull up handle

We are adding the hand held shower to this unit. I understand we need the T11853 diverter to make this work. Does this mean the pull up handle on the tub spout is no longer needed? If that's the case, can we get a spout that doesn't have handle? Another question: We also need a R10000UNBX. Just curious why this doesn't come with the T17453. Thanks!
Asked by: Sam
Hi Sam, Thank you for your question! When you turn the water on, it will automatically go to the spout. You will need to have a diverter spout to send the water up to the 3-Setting Diverter, which will then route the water to the shower head, hand shower, or both. The rough-in valves are sold separately to allow you to choose which R10000 to get. We offer different versions depending on the application, such as what type of piping will be used, whether you prefer stops (WS), or need higher flow (HF). The UNBX or UNWS versions are recommended for most applications. http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/results.html?q=r10000 Thanks, Jon

Height Installation recommendation

At what height do you recommend that the showerbar is installed? Also do you have recommendations on what the ideal height and configuraton for the rough-in control, diverter, handheld shower and two body jets as were are installing a complete shower package in this series.
Asked by: Joey
Thank you for your questions. Unfortunately, we do not have a good recommendation for you. It is a personal preference where to install your components. It will depend on who is using the shower and how tall they are so they get the best shower experience.

tub spout installation

Need confirmation regarding copper pipe type installation of the Vero tub spout. With respect to the supplied adapter (o-ring on one end and double-sided thread other end), the o-ring end is always towards the tub spout? The schematic picture on the spout packaging seems to indicate this as the direction, but the adapter will only screw in so far. Which end is soldered onto the copper pipe?
Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17453 has a tub spout that can be either sweat onto a copper pipe or thread onto an iron pipe. Included here are the instructions for installing your faucet. On page 12 are the instructions for your tub spout. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t17453.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper

I want to add a Vero handshower bar to this setup.

What do I need to buy to make it all work together? What rough-in do I need to buy? How can I switch from tub to Rainshower to handshower? Can handshower work with rainshower at the same time?
Asked by: Doowee
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17453-SS can be paired with Delta Faucet model # R11000 rough-in diverter and T11853-SS diverter trim. You will then be able to divert from your showerhead to your handheld shower. We have 2 handheld showers in the Vero collections. They are model numbers 55530-SS(wall mount) and 57530-SS(slide bar mount). You will also need a wall supply elbow and we have 2 to chose from there-50570-SS is square, and 50560-SS is round.

What is the maximum length of shower head extension?

Would like to extend shower head from wall 20-24" inches. Will it be able to handle weight of shower head. Does Delta sell anything longer than 16" inches?
Asked by: Steve
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17453 has a shower arm that extends out for 15-9/32 inches. We do manufacture a shower arm that extends from 13"-22" and that model number is U6930.
