Tempassure cartridge restriction
Does the Tempassure cartridge have a hot water restriction in comparison to the normal delta cartridge.
In other words, my wife likes the water hot, really hot, will the Tempassure cartridge prevent her from enjoying her really hot shower?
Thank you for your question. The cartridge can be calibrated to adjust the maximum hot position to the desired setting. Please click the link below to see our How-To Video for help with this (starting at minute 2:45).

Is the showerhead and valve all metal, is there any plastic on this set?
Hi Casey, Thank you for your question!

Difference between this & 14 Series
Other than the TempAssure feature what is the difference between this Shower Trim & the Monitor 14 Series Trim?
Hi Carol, Thank you for your question. The model T17T292 offers a different shower head and shower arm than what the 14 series model T14292 offers. The TempAssure feature allows you to control water temperature and volume separately, the 14 series offers only temperature control.

Can I use the TempAssure Technology with a 10 Lt/min (+/- 3,79 Gallons/min) Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater at home?
I live in Colombia (South America) and I am planning to buy a new apartment. I need to know if it´s mandatory to use a Classic Tall Residential Natural Gas Water Heater (with Tank) for Monitor or TempAssure Systems or, if by the other hand, I can use a natural gas tankless water heater. I heard that water flow/pressure wouldn´t be enough in the second case, but I prefer a tankless option. Thank you so much for your help!
Hi Ana, Thank you for your question. You can use the model T17T292 with a tankless water heater. The waterflow/pressure issue is related to the flow rate of the showerhead. Make sure that the tankless water heater will turn on at a flow rate that is ¼ the showerhead rated flow rate. A 2.0 gpm showerhead would be .5 gpm. If the tankless water heater meets these requirements it should work.

Swap T17T492-SS Shower Head Unit with T17292-SS Head Unit?
I am remodeling both a master and children's/guest bathroom, and want to use the T17T492-SS in the children's/guest bathroom, and the T17292-SS in the master. However, I want to swap the shower head units for cosmetic reasons (and to maintain the TempAssure feature and 2 GPM flow in the children's/guest bathroom)- will this work? Other than cosmetics and 2.5 vs. 2 GPM, are the units compatible/interchangeable? Thanks!
Hi Ryan, Thank you for your question. The showerheads, or showerheads and showerarms on the models T17T492-SS and T17292-SS can be switched out. The 1/2" pipe connections on both modes are the same.

HOW DO I GET ONLY COLD WATER TO COME OUT?
I DONT LIKE TAKING HOT SHOWERS. I PREFER VERY WARM TO COOL WATER, ESPECIALLY IN THE SUMMER. I LEAVE THE LARGE AND SMALL HANDLES SIDE BY SIDE AND TURN ON THE WATER JUST AS IT BARELY STARTS TO FLOW OUT. BUT THE WATER TEMP IS TOO WARM. I WOULD LIKE IT COOLER. HOW DO I ARRANGE THE HANDLES FOR COOL WATER?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T292 contains a thermostatic cartridge that can be adjusted to allow more or less hot water to flow thru the valve on a smei-permanent basis. Included here are the instructions for adjusting the cartridge. They are on page 7 of the booklet.

Add slidebar handshower with in wall diverter
I would like to add a slidebar handheld shower but want an in wall diverter (too short to reach one on shower). Is there a coordinating diverter trim or one close to Addison?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 17T292-SS does have a matching in-wall diverter. The rough-in is model R11000 and the trim to add one extra feature is model # T11892-SS. If you would like to add two extra features, please use trim model # T11992-SS.
