Hi - we just bought a home with two of these  1800 series faucets with the jets on either side of a valve, but not sure how these are operated or activated. I could not find any user operation manuals online. Please advise. Thanks.

Thank you for your question, Jason! We would be happy to help. Once the water is on, please turn the diverter handle left or right to turn on the body sprays. Here is a link to the instructions for this model: Please note that there are a few different versions of the 1800 series. The diverter may simply say "On/Off" or it may have multiple settings to divert flow between the shower head and body sprays (and possibly an additional component). Best regards, Jon

i have a customer with this shower valve, i can't get the volume control handle off. is there a special tool that removes this

Asked by: adam
Hi Adam, Thank you for your question! Once the temperature dial, cover and screw is removed the volume control should pull straight off. If there is build up you can use a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar to remove it. Let the solution soak for approximately 15-20 mins. Best regards, Brandis

Why is my water pressure on some settings seem weak?

I am running this series in my stand up shower. I have had this unit installed with an additional hand sprayer. I installed this unit almost 6 years ago and finally finished the shower. When we started using it it seems that when you select the hand sprayer the water is very weak. I am using a 54513 hand sprayer, and on any of the settings the water pressure does not change. The body sprays are supper strong almost like getting hit with needles. The main shower head has a good volume of water. Are there anythings I can change to get stronger hand shower pressure and softer body jets?

Thank you for your question. It may be that there is debris in your handshower line. We recommend taking the showerhead off of your handheld shower and flushing the hose out to remove any debris in the hose. If you are not getting any pressure from the hose by itself, then we recommend flushing the entire system.
