How do I remove the temperature handle in order to replace O ring?

I have a model T19255SS. I have removed the set screw from the volume handle but the temperature handle will not come off easily. I don't want to force it but I don't see any other set screws or allen bolts that would be holding it on. How do I remove this temperature handle so that may access the rest of the assembly?
Asked by: homeowner
Hi Homeowner, Thank you for your question. The set screw on the side of the volume control is what holds the temperature control handle onto the assembly. Once that screw is removed you should be able to pry the handle apart. There may be mineral build up causing the handle to stick, soak a towel in a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water and wrap the towel around the handle.Let the towel sit for an hour or more. This should help break up the mineral build up making the handle easier to remove. Thanks, Dave

Need available rough-in valve for this trim

bought the trim kit (T19255-SS) a few weeks back.. my current rough-in valve (R10000-UNBX) isn't compatible with this trim. User Manual references needing a R19000 valve but the part is discontinued. Are there any current available valves that will fit this trim kit?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately Delta Faucet model # T19255-SS no longer has a valve that is compatible with it. We recommend returning it to the store for a refund.
