I've had T4740 tub faucet for 7 years. the handshower works but has always had very weak pressure. Why is this? is there some adjustment I can make to improve upon it? This is very frustrating.
Thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing low flow. We recommend to flush the lines to make sure no debris is caught inside. To do this, turn off the water from the shut off valves. Take the handles and bonnet nuts and parts out of the valve. Turn the water on at the shut off valves and let the water flow through the open handles for 30-45 seconds. We also recommend to replace the parts, RP4993, seats and springs and RP24096, stem unit assemblies. If these two things do not work, please call us on our customer service line at 1(800)345-3358.
