is the maximum length arm available 9"? If a 24" arm were needed, how would you solve the problem?

Asked by: cjc
Hi cjc, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not make a 24" ceiling mount shower arm. However, you may be able to find a third party product that is 24". Best regards, Jon

Installing a showerhead

Hello, We have this Delta Ceiling Mount Shower Arm and Flange and need to know the weight of the shower head it will support as we are looking at all options. Can you tell me the maximum weight that would be recommended? Thanks
Asked by: ahala
Hello, Thanks for your question! Our ceiling mounted shower arms are tested to a tensile strength of 100 lbs. I hope this helps!

Is there any reason not to use a U4999-PK to extend the distance of a UA902-PK from a wall?

We will use the UA902-PK adjustable arm with the outlet in the wall (not ceiling) but would like the rain shower head to be further from the wall than the 10" it provides. Is there any reason not to use the U4999-PK to extend that by 9" or the U4996-PK to extend it by 3"? Any advice on properly supporting the wall outlet to do this? The system will be installed by a professional plumber. Thank you
Asked by: Mike
Hi Mike, The UA902-PK will attach to both the U4999-PK and U4996-PK and allow you to extend the showerhead further from the wall. We recommmend installing a drop ear elbow directly to the stud/stringer for additional support. Thanks, Dave

Can two shower arms be attached in-line for a total of 18" arm from ceiling?

Asked by: Toni
Hi Toni, Thank you for your question. The shower arms have 1/2" male pipe threads at each end. So they would be able to be coupled together with a 1/2" pipe coupling. The problem that you will run into is that you will not find a finished coupling to match the shower arms leaving a mismatched look. Thanks, Dave
