The Delta brand is proud to have been a recipient of many industry awards throughout the years as we continue to push the envelope of innovation. These awards give us a perennial opportunity to outdo ourselves with new technologies and designs, to advance industry standards and show the world what Delta can do.
In 2010, the Delta brand received Green Product Awards for two of our products: the Addison™ single-handle pull-down kitchen faucet with Multi-Flow™ and Touch2O® Technology as well as the Addison shower head with H2Okinetic® Technology. The Green Product Awards are an annual contest that spotlights new products which contribute to a green-built home while also demonstrating innovation and value to the contractor. Winners of the Green Product Awards must excel in three areas: sustainability, value to the contractor and innovation.
The KBCulture Awards make an annual selection of the best products, places and perspectives which are central to the kitchen and bath design industry. The author of KBCulture.com, who hosts the competition, is also the author of The New City Home and other books. In 2010, the Delta brand was honored with two KBCulture awards: the winner in the sink fittings category for our Pilar® Waterfall® kitchen faucet with Touch2O Technology and the winner in the hardware category for our Zero-Threshold Shower Base.
The premier business awards competition in the United States, the American Business Awards (aka the "Stevies") recognize the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide. In 2010, the Delta brand received an honorable mention for our Pilar pull-down kitchen faucet and was a People's Choice Award winner for the proximity-sensing technology in our Touch2O.xt® lavatory faucets.
Presented to the Delta Rizu Bath Collection, the Award for Design Excellence (ADEX) is presented by Design Journal Magazine to products which feature superior design within the architectural and design industry. It is one of the industry's most coveted awards, generating more than 1,200 entries a year.
The Edison Awards, sponsored by The Discovery Channel, Google and The Nielson Company, recognize companies in the name of innovation and business success and honor excellence in new product and service development, marketing, human-centered design and innovation. The Delta Pilar kitchen faucet with Touch2O Technology was tapped as a finalist in the 2010 awards competition.
