Delta Faucet Remains Steadfast in Commitment to Satisfy Design Demands

Universal kitchen and bath designs support homeowners seeking long-term flexibility

LAS VEGAS – By 2030, the U.S. Census Bureau predicts those 65 and older will grow by 80 percent, and they are more likely to remain at home. In fact, 40 percent of U.S. adults 85 and older live alone, according to AARP. These trends, coupled with the rise in chronic diseases and increased at-home care for the disabled, compound the demand for fixtures and furnishings to fit homeowners’ long-term needs.
“Delta Faucet is empowered by innovation and how it can transform daily interactions with water, and recognizes how interactions with water can be challenging for some,” said Sarah Reep, director, designer relations and education at Masco Cabinetry (ASID, IIDA, CMKBD, CMG, CAPS). “It’s inspiring to see how we can make a difference by combining stylish design and innovative technology to ensure all people have the opportunity to live comfortably, conveniently and beautifully as they interact with water.”
Delta® products and technologies are driven by the company’s ongoing commitment to satisfying the wide-ranging and flexible needs of the ever-evolving homeowner and trade professionals. To meet the needs of people across all ages and abilities, Delta products are designed to offer greater accessibility, convenience and transformative interactions with water without sacrificing style. The evolving needs of our population warrant progressive solutions to provide for health and wellness needs today and tomorrow.
  • Delta Temp2O® Technology: Take the guesswork out of showering or bathing. An integrated digital temperature display features LED color indicators to signal different water temperature ranges for easy, visual indication. Providing peace of mind before getting in the shower or bath, the technology is available on a variety of hand showers, showerheads and tub showers to suit various décor styles. Temperatures below 80 degrees Fahrenheit/26.7 degrees Celsius are represented in blue; 80 to approximately 110 degrees Fahrenheit/26.7-43.3 degrees Celsius are designated in magenta; and those greater than 110 degrees Fahrenheit/43.3 degrees Celsius show as red.
  • Delta Décor AssistAccessories: A combination of form and function, this suite offers a range of stylish towel bars, corner shelves and tissue holders, that each support up to 300 pounds of weight. The tissue holders feature a pivoting arm for easy loading. An assist bar wall anchor is included with each purchase to help ensure a secure mount with proper installation and a retrievable feature for easy removal without damaging drywall. The accessories coordinate with contemporary, transitional and traditional design styles and are offered in Chrome, Stainless, Champagne Bronze™, and Venetian Bronze® finishes. The traditional accessories suite is also available in Polished Nickel finish.
  • Delta Decorative Grab Bars: Support beyond the standard, these are offered in four attractive styles: traditional, transitional, contemporary round and angular modern, to seamlessly blend in any space. A retrievable wall anchor is included with each purchase to help ensure easy mounting and deliver resistance against 500 pounds of force - twice the 250 pounds required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The grab bars are offered in Chrome, Stainless, Champagne Bronze, Venetian Bronze and Polished Nickel finishes.
  • Touch2O.xt® Technology: Sometimes, hands can use a hand. Uniting the Touch2O® Technology with hands-free technology on lavatory faucets from the Dryden, Addison and Lahara® bath collections, users can touch it on or off and also have an entirely hands-free option. The hands-free technology enables the faucet to act as a sensor so the water starts flowing instantly and effortlessly once it senses the user’s presence. It also automatically shuts off within seconds when the user is outside the 4” sensing field. It helps to conserve water and is perfect for repetitive tasks like washing hands or brushing teeth.
  • Delta Palm® Shower: Choice, control and durability via a simple, one-handed operation that slides easily into the palm of the hand with a rubberized grip. Whether showering independently or aiding someone with limited mobility, Palm Shower is the solution to soapy hands and hard-to-grip handles.
