Six PHCC Educational Foundation Scholars Awarded by Delta Faucet Company

Faucet leader provides grant to students in the plumbing-heating-cooling industry

Delta Faucet Company is pleased to announce six winners of the 2017 Delta scholarship in partnership with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Educational Foundation. Since 1986, Delta has invested in those pursuing education in the industry and awards students and apprentices funding in support of their careers.
“Delta Faucet Company has been a proud supporter of the PHCC Educational Foundation for over 30 years and we want to continue providing support for outstanding men and women who have a passion for our industry,” said Sam Straub, vice president of trade sales for Delta Faucet Company. “Each scholar has demonstrated a clear commitment and desire to work in the plumbing-heating-cooling profession and we are honored to help them achieve their career aspirations.”
Applicants are reviewed and selected by the PHCC Educational Foundation Scholarship Committee’s contractor members each year. The PHCC National Association will recognize scholarship winners at its annual convention, CONNECT 2017, on Friday, October 6 in Milwaukee, WI.
The following students will receive the scholarship:
  • John Bartucciotto, Anaheim, CA – Plumbing Installation, Service & Repair at PHCC of Orange County/San Bernardino Apprentice School
  • Zack Buck, San Antonio, TX – Construction Management at University of Texas, San Antonio
  • Abigail Freund, Spring Branch, TX – Business Management at Texas A&M, College Station
  • Matthew Pease, Pierre, SD – HVACR Installation, Service & Repair at Mitchell Technical Institute
  • Katherine Pfleeger, Alexandria, VA – Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University
  • Jamison Sholander, Comstock Park, MI – HVACR Engineering Technology at Ferris State University
