We embarked on a new muddy adventure last summer and made messy memories to last a lifetime
Check out the action from Delta and Warrior Dash in 2016!
We never met a #HappiMess we didn’t love, so signed up to cross the country last summer for five muddy, sloppy and straight-up awesome Warrior Dash races! Here’s what happened:
WHAT: Taking place in more than 30 cities, Warrior Dash is the globe’s largest obstacle-race series. Participants bound through rugged terrain, crawl through mud, leap over fire — and get really dirty! We were there to hose ’em down via giant shower stations loaded with H2Okinetic shower heads that made those post-race showers feel wetter. Bonus: Our eco-friendly shower stations actually save up to 40 percent more water compared to standard showers.
WHO: Delta Faucet, host Summer Sanders, and thousands of runners.
WHERE & WHEN: We set up fully loaded shower stations in five states across the country:
May 16, 2015: Maryland
June 13 & 14, 2015: Illinois
June 27* & 28, 2015: Indiana
Aug. 8, 2015: New Jersey
Aug. 15, 2015: Colorado
*June 27 was extra-special: That day, we broke the world record for Most People Showering Simultaneously!
WHY: Because we love a good mess, and we know a thing or two about getting clean. Plus, we love having fun for a good cause. Since Warrior Dash’s inception, racers have donated more than 70,000 pairs of shoes to those in need and raised over $1.5 million for local charities; last year we encouraged attendees to sign WaterSense’s “We’re for Water” pledge, which asks Americans to save water at home.
Our Favorite Obstacle from Warrior Dash 2015: Goliath, the giant mudslide that’s two stories tall!
