Stylish Vintage Bathroom renovation by Brepurposed
This Delta Faucet-sponsored post is by our friend, freelance graphic designer and interiors enthusiast Bre Bertolini. Thanks to Bre for always sharing her inspiration and beautiful work. See more from her at brepurposed.porch.com.

It’s been seven months since we completed our master bathroom renovation for the One Room Challenge, and I thought it would be fun to share a little update on some of my favorite elements from this space. I knew from the moment I started my design plan that I wanted brass fixtures, but I was more concerned about looks than function. Luckily, Delta Faucet makes some amazing products that look as amazing as they work. There were many things to consider when planning our bathroom renovation, but I’m most happy with the stylish and functional fixtures in our modern vintage bathroom.

We went with the Delta Trinsic Collection for the sink and tub faucets, and I just love their sleek, contemporary look. For the bath, we used the Trinsic Roman Tub with Hand Shower Trim. Because we built our bathtub into a wood surround, we had to place the faucet on the side instead of in the typical location at the foot of the tub. I was concerned with how this would look, but all these months later, I’m still loving it. It’s actually super convenient for giving my daughter, Eloise, baths, which is a total win.

Speaking of baths, while I don’t personally use the sprayer much, I use it all the time on Eloise. It’s perfect for kiddo bath time—the wand is super long, so even if she squirms away to the other end of the tub, I can still reach her.

Vintage Bathroom Renovation: Tub faucet in Champagne Bronze

I absolutely love the Champagne Bronze color this faucet comes in. It’s not an in-your-face gold brass, but rather the perfect subtle shade that pairs well with the white and wood in our bathroom.

On the vanity, we have the Trinsic Two-Handle Widespread Lavatory Faucet, which fits perfectly with our vessel sink. It’s similar to the tub faucet, just a bit smaller and without the sprayer. It goes so well with our sconces, and I love how it pops off the white square tiles.

Now for the main event—the shower! The shower panel tends to steal the spotlight, but let me tell you, the shower head is just as amazing. Since we went with a somewhat open-concept stall, we needed a rain shower so the water wouldn’t be spraying out all over the place. The Delta Vero Monitor 14 Series Shower was perfect, matching the other fixtures in color and same stylish look.

I seriously feel like I’m at a spa every time I take a shower. There’s just something about the water falling down on you, rather than at an angle, that feels so soothing.

Another perk of this shower head? It’s not your typical rain shower head. You don’t have to worry about placing plumbing lines in the ceiling since this one just comes straight out of the wall. You get the look and feel of a spa-like fixture, without all the hassle of installation.

All of these fixtures are also super easy to keep clean. A quick swipe with a gentle cleanser, and they immediately look brand-new.

If we were doing this bathroom renovation all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Style and function are equally important to me, and this bathroom melds the best of both worlds.
