Comprised of three historic buildings in Columbia, South Carolina—all reclaimed, remodeled and reinvented—the 36,000-square-foot Hotel Trundle is a loving testament to the capital city’s history. Today, the old structures’ exposed bricks, tin ceiling tiles and custom-wood trim harmonize with an eclectic interior design that incorporates new work from the area’s modern artisans.
From the moment they enter, guests are immersed in the city’s culture. After being welcomed with a local craft beer, visitors proceed to one of 41 unique rooms, each of which features local art on the walls, and beds fashioned by local woodworkers, mattress manufacturers and pillow makers.
Each of the hotel’s bathrooms are equally curated, featuring products from the Delta® Vero®
Bath Collections. Interior design firm Pond & Company selected these products for their dependability and sleek modern design. Zura faucets in a split Chrome/Matte Black finish and Ara shower trim in a Matte Black
finish add eye-catching contrast and warmth to make guests feel at home. In other spaces, the slim lines and graceful arc of Vero faucets and shower trim in a Champagne Bronze™
finish evokes a sense of urban sophistication.
