Tucked into the heart of Oklahoma’s Arbuckle Mountains, the Chickasaw Retreat and Conference Center offers guests 100,000 square feet of space for comfortable lodging, dining, relaxing and meeting. The facility was originally built in 1994 as a health and wellness center, but was underused by the Chickasaw Nation. Rather than let the site languish, the tribe hired Algiere Design & Purchasing Services and Algiere Construction Services to turn the property into a hospitality destination.
Algiere took its design cues from the site’s natural surroundings and incorporated nature-inspired elements like stone walls and natural hardwood flooring to create an atmosphere of easy hospitality. The Delta Lahara® Collection was part of this effort. With a sleek spout and one-piece curved handles, the Lahara faucet brings a natural fluidity that well complements the renovation. Also used were Lahara showers and towel bars, each specified in the Champagne Bronze finish – the look which inspired the choice of tile and art in the guest rooms and suites. Today, the Chickasaw Retreat welcomes a steady stream of visitors—thanks to reimagined space as beautiful as the scenery that surrounds it.
