ELEVATE Raises the Bar for Home Accent Design
New York Design Week is on its way, and we are excited. For the first time ever, six leaders in home accent design are collaborating on a temporary installation that is sure to have an impact that is anything but fleeting. This consortium of six top-tier brands, the ELEVATE Design Collective, have come together to lead, inspire and expand the possibilities of interior design. Who are they?  KitchenAid®, Schlage® Hunter Fan, JELD-WEN®, Formica Corporation, and, of course, the Delta® brand. One of the most exciting parts? The curated collection will feature a custom color developed exclusively for ELEVATE by the Pantone Color Institute. The collection—and color!— will be unveiled at a loft in SoHo during New York City’s annual, citywide celebration of design.
 
Our very own Judd Lord, whose extraordinary design talents were lent to ELEVATE for this high-profile project, says that while accent pieces like faucets, fans, locks and more provide functionalities essential to any dwelling, their sway on a room’s aesthetics is just as critical to interior design. ELEVATE’s temporary installation is a study in just that.
 
The six-brand team approached the project with all eyes on the future of urban lifestyle design. Visitors to the ELEVATE loft will be delighted by its clean, contemporary appeal. Home accent pieces will don the yet-to-be revealed Pantone color, though Judd tells us the hue holds within it a tremendous amount of warmth that helps designers create an inviting feel in contemporary quarters.
