Rated 1 out of 5 by from Multiple wall valve leaks I would give this zero stars if I could. I had two of the identical pot filler’s in a row fail at the wall valve. Delta confirmed that either valve should be able to completely stop the flow of water, however after several days of very limited use, the wall valve when closed started allowing water through when the end valve was open. The problem then becomes if the end valve fails in a similar way, my stove, floor and basement will all get water damage. Delta sent me replacement valves which worked for a week, then failed. Build.com had amazing customer service and sent me a replacement filler, which started doing the same thing after 2 weeks. Delta only reimbursed labor from one of the service calls, And still are only offering more replacement valves with this second potfiller that’s leaking. I am sick of paying plumbing service calls for this filler so I will be returning it and going with a different brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from meh looks nice but the wall valve doesn't seal properly. meaning, when the valve at the wall is closed but the valve one the head is open, it trickles out water. luckily there are two valves to shut off the water, i suppose?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional addition to the kitchen This faucet is a great addition to our kitchen remodel. It gets used almost daily. The faucet is sturdy and well made. As do-it-yourselfers, we would have liked more detailed installation instructions. Example, in order to change the handle position; removed the handle from the valve cartridge, reposition the valve and replace the screw and cover. We also used plumber tape and a small of pipe thread sealant. We are very happy with the end results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water won't shut off We just had our kitchen remodeled and we added this beautiful pot filler. Used it maybe 3 times and now the water won't shut off from the back shut off. So disappointed that this is happening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service I bought this product for our new home and it looks really nice. However it leaked at the shutoff nearest the wall. I called Delta and the sent me TWO shutoffs without any hassle or question. Very impressed with the customer service. Will be a dedicated Delta customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pot Filler Valve Cartridge I experienced minor leakage from one of the two valve cartridges in my Delta pot filler. Delta sent a new valve assembly to me in clouding the exterior valve handle. More parts than I expected. Nice though.

What sink faucet system best matches the traditioinal wall mount pot filler?

Asked by: Catherine
Hi Catherine, Thank you for your question! Since the Pot Filler is not part of a specific design collection, any of our Traditional style faucets will match some of the design aspects. Please click the link below to browse our selection of kitchen faucets with a Traditional design style. http://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/faucets/filter-results.html?sort=pricehighlow&finish=ss&style=kitchen-traditional Best regards, Jon

Valve Orientation

I have installed this pot filler slightly right of the cook top so it is centered a little better when folded. When folded the top valve (closest to where the water is dispensed) points directly at the back wall when folded if it is in the "closed" position. This means that if I fold the pot filler back and leave it in the closed position the end would hit my wall. Can this be changed so the valve points forward instead of backward? Also, I though it was odd that a clockwise turn caused the water to turn on instead of off, like most faucets. Can this be changed/adjusted?
Asked by: TY
Thank you for your question, TY. While the direction of the handle rotation cannot be changed, you can change the position of the handle when it is off. To do this, turn off supplies, then remove the cap and screw. Pull off the handle, then reinstall it onto the spines where you would like it in the off position. Best regards, Jon

The arms on my pot filler are not parallel when in the closed position. The elbows are tight, with no play in them(as they should be). How can this be fixed?  I haven’t installed it yet.  Thanks

Asked by: BobbyR
Hi, BobbyR! Thank you for your question. The 1177LF pot filler should fold and arms should be parallel. The elbows should not be tight and fold smoothly. We do recommend to return back to the store if this one is not working correctly, as it should. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can this be hooked up to an Reverse Osmosis water filter? I have seen other manufacturers not recommend using their pot fillers with RO water because it does not interact well with the brass insides of the fixtures.

The home I recently purchased is four years old. It has a Delta pot-filler above the gas range. I have noticed the spout drips some. Could you make suggestions as to how to remedy the problem?

Asked by: Grumpy
Thank you for your question, Grumpy! I'm sorry to hear this pot filler is leaking and we would be happy to help. Under each handle is a valve cartridge. You can gain access to this by removing the button cover on the top of the handle. A screw holds the handle in place. The water must be turned off to the unit, or room before removing these cartridges. Even though the warranty only covers the original owner of the model, please know that any repair parts purchased would then be covered under our lifetime limited warranty. You will need to order RP74972SS if you have Stainless Steel as this will also include new handles. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP74972SS Best regards, Edward

Can a water filter such as PUR be attached to this pot filler?

Asked by: Cynthia
Hello, Cynthia! Thanks for your question. A water filter can be installed onto this 1177LF Pot Filler faucet as long as it has compatible connections. However, we do not recommend to add a water filter to a Pot Filler faucet as it will greatly decrease the flow of water to fill a pot, etc. Best Regards, Rosanna

Inverted nstall possible?

Is it possible to install "inverted" like this picture? The delta spout would of course be rotated 180 degrees. This would make sure the first arm could clear even the ttallest pot that may be next to the wall while filling a pot on the front side of the stove.
Asked by: Eric
Hi Eric, Thank you for your question. Both arms can be rotated over 180 degrees, so the spout can be positioned on the right or left. I hope this answers your question! Best regards, Jon

Thank you for your question, Julie! Model 1177LF-AR will require you to remove a set screw underneath as well as un-thread the faucet. The part you are referring to is a decorative cover that simply snaps in place. Please refer to Page 3, Step E of the Maintenance and Installation manual below for reference. Best regards, Edward
