Rated 5 out of 5 by from great faucet design We really like the look of this faucet and the fact that it has a shape that makes it easy to fit large items under it. We also like the large diameter because it provides a plentiful flow of water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet! I bought this to replace an old leaky faucet that came with the house. No leaks or drips, great faucet!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks badly Professionally installed during kitchen reno. Worked fine for 2 days, then I turned it on and water sprayed all over the counter and walls. Water was coming from the perimeter of the plastic O-ring piece piece surrounding the aerator. Nothing to tighten, just defective. See photos with aerator removed. Water sprays from the space between the black plastic ring and the metal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT recommended This faucet is problematic. After roughly a year in our kitchen it started leaking and I had to replace the cartridge. Easy enough. Over $30 later and the new cartridge in place the faucet is leaking just as before. If I wiggle the handle just right I can stop the drips but still can’t just push the handle back to the center position as purchased. It’s a pain in the butt. This behavior is why I replaced the cartridge so I just wasted $35. To add insult, I can’t find the receipt so now I have a couple pounds of scrap in my sink. A 5 year warranty is great but does me no good. It should be covered regardless—requiring a receipt is how you avoid the cost of replacement. No more Delta for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Absolute junk. It’s dripping since day 1 and now the handle is loose. Can about spin around. Had for 3 months

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good twist at the ending Easy to install, however, the sprayer will drip when the unit is running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant simplicity What we like the most about the faucet is the high round arch design. The ease of installation was great.

Can this be installed so the handle is on the left side, vs the right as shown? I'm looking to use my existing three holes for the faucet, sprayer and a separate dispenser for filtered water on the right. The left hole is centered over the sink.

Asked by: jim45
Hello Jim45, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the handle of the Delta Savile Kitchen 11949-SS-DST faucet can be installed on the left instead of the right. However the hot and cold would work opposite as designed. Best regards, Tanya

If there is sediment in the water, can the spout be replaced?

Asked by: Zack
Hello Zack, Thank you for your inquiry! If there is sediment in the spout of the Delta Savile Kitchen 11949-SS-DST faucet, you can remove and clean the RP70718 cache aerator assembly, in a 50/50 (vinegar/water) solution. You would use the provided RP52217 wrench to remove the aerator. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-11949-DST.pdf Best regards, Tanya

when sprayer valve is pressed water still comes from spout as well as the spray hose. diverter valve has been replaced.. is this normal?

Asked by: allan
Thank you for your question, Allan! Delta kitchen faucet sprayers use a diverter, which is a moving valve that shifts the water flow back and forth between the faucet spout and the sprayer. When you activate the sprayer handle, the diverter shuts down the flow to the spout. When you release the sprayer handle, the diverter opens again and lets the water flow into the spout. Please know that it is normal to have a thin stream of water coming from the spout whenever the sprayer is being used. If you are getting more than a pencil-thin stream of water from the spout then we would ask that you contact us for further assistance at 1-800-345-3358 Monday-Friday: 8a.m.-8p.m. EST and Saturday: 9a.m.-6p.m. EST or via email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. I'm looking for a pull down faucet that does not have a filter located in the line to the nozzle located under the sink. Much too difficult to clean. Does this model (Savile) have it's only filter located at the spray head?

Asked by: Dave 2
Hi Dave 2, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Savile Kitchen 11949-SS-DST faucet has only an aerator assembly screwed into the end of the spout. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-11949-DST_A.pdf Best regards, Tanya Best regards, Tanya

Can this faucet be mounted with the control lever in the front not using the deckplate.

Customer wanted this to be able to control from the front, or back. It seems like it could be done
Asked by: Brettpee
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 11949-SSSD-DST can be used without the deckplate and you may turn the faucet so that the handle is in front. The hot and cold will then be left and right instead of forwards and backwards.

Can I use a portable dishwasher with this faucet?

I can't find an adapter that will fit the threads once I remove the internal aerator from the faucet.
Asked by: Frustrated
Hi Frustrated, Thank you for your question. If the cache aerator in your model 11949-SS-DST faucet has an o-ring around the outside of the aerator then you can use our RP51505 adapter to convert to a standard 55/64-27 male thread. If your cache aerator has a gasket on top of the aerator we do not offer a 13/16" adapter to convert this faucet. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp51505.html Thanks, Dave

Can the aerator on this model be changed to one that has more of a "shower" type spray?

Asked by: Melissa
Hi Melissa, Thank you for your question. The wand on the model 19949-SSSD-DST has a 2 function sprayhead. A toggle switch allows you to switch back and forth between a normal stream mode and a spray mode similar to a side sprayer/shower type of spray. Thanks, Dave
