Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works good but.... I've had this faucet for the last 6 years and it worked fine for the first 4 years. Over the past two years on two occasions the clip that holds the pull out hose on has broken and has flooded the area under my sink. I would think of a better way for that hose to attach or a better safeguard in place if the hose becomes disconnected. Each time they have sent me a new clip and I have replaced a leaky valve once which they also supplied.

Hello: Our Delta Debonair 16927-SSSD-DSY drips - what would be the part that needs to be replaced to fix this?

Asked by: Norm
Hi, Norm! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Pull the cartridge out to clean the bottom puck of the cartridge. Reinstall the cartridge assembly. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replace both the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587, and the bonnet nut, RP51503. Best Regards, Rosanna

Can I improve the flow in any way?

I just bought and installed this faucet. I like everything about it, the finish, the style and ease of operation. However I am really unhappy with the weak flow. I had no idea there wasn't the usual flow restrictor just behind the aerator. Is there anything I can do to improve the flow on this? Are there any hidden restrictors not shown on the parts blow up sheet? I don't even care if that voids the warranty, I just want some stream. Thanks for your help! Eric
Asked by: Eric
Hi, Eric. Thank you for question. Unfortunately, there is not a restrictor that you can remove to get a higher flow rate. This faucet has a 1.8 gpm. If the faucet is getting less than 1.8 gpm, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. We will be happy to assist you further. Best Regards, Rosanna

What can I do to increase the water flow?

I recently purchased your Debonair 16927-SSSD-DST faucet to replace a similar Moen. I am very disappointed that the water flow rate is very low, much lower than my previous Moen. Is there a flow restrictor that can be removed? If so, please tell me how to remove it. If it can't be fixed, can I exchange it for another faucet that will deliver a better flow of water? I need to know how to fix this thing.
Asked by: Mike
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 16927-SSSD-DST has a 1.5 gpm. There is not a flow restrictor for you to remove. We do offer a few faucets that have a 2.0 gpm that may be better to your liking. The Addison series (Delta Faucet model # 9192-SS-DST) has a multi-flow that dellvers both 1.5 for water effienciecy and 2.0 gmp for high performance.
